Celtic Nations Tour 2006

Celtic-American rap anarchist Emcee Lynx is now booking shows for his first international tour (Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, Galacia, Euzkadi, Spain, and England) this summer.

Hey folks,

I'm trying to put together my first international tour this summer, and I need to to book some shows in the UK. I'd like to book shows in London, Scotland, Cornwall, and Wales, but the specifics all depend on who hits me up, so if folks in other parts of the country can hook up shows I can work that in too.

Here's the basic info:

Who: Emcee Lynx, the original rap anarchist. I've released five albums in five years, given all of them away for free online, and performed at rallies, protests, clubs, raves, and riots all over the U$A. My music is explicitly anti-capitalist, anti-authoritarian, and anti-imperialist.

What: My first international tour, my goal is to hit up all of the Celtic nations + Bilbao (capital of the Basque nation), Barcelona and Catalonia (home to the worlds largest anarchist revolution) and London, (the world capital of capitalist imperialism).

Where: Your town. seriously. hit me up to make this shit happen.

When: This summer, between May 30 and July 5. I've got a rough itinerary posted on my website at  http://emceelynx.circlealpha.com/press/celticnationstour06.htm
All the dates are rough estimates and the schedule is flexible. It all depends on ya'll.

Why: I'm trying to shake some asses, draw some connections, start some discussions, and put a strong and clear anti-imperialist anarchist perspective out there.

The Catch: I need to get paid for shows in order to cover costs. travel is stupid expensive and being working class means I can't afford to pay travel costs out of pocket. I'm asking for 2-300 euros for a show, which frankly shouldn't be hard to cover from the door if there's a decent turn out.

The Music: I've put out five albums; my newest - Living in the Shadow - was just released on New Years Eve 05/06. All my music is available for free from my website: ( http://emceelynx.circlealpha.com). Check the mp3's, burn some copies, and if you like what you hear book a show.

Please hit me up via my website: ( http://emceelynx.circlalpha.com/contact.htm) if you can help make this happen.

Solidarity,
emcee lynx
