In August 2006 post protest society the 'vine and fig tree planters' went close to the weapons establishment at Mondl, Gothenburg and planted trees that challenged the very existence of products being manufactured and sent out to Iraq used in warring (radar systems).
On this second occasion (there have been others) following little known about arrests eventually the Swedish government/police have decided not to take on the creative disobedience of a few who like what they do.
So the extradition of an english vine and fig tree interventionist will not continue, which is a convenient thing - its not convenient yet to return for a court hearing. (this nonviolent calm interventionist was recently spying on the wonderful ways of the Swedish ploughshares movement and hopes that some of their kind tactics can be used in special moments here in the UK).
Fig and Vine planters do not stay on the verge, they proceed to transform dangerous places. Protest is not part of their remit - initiating change is.

"The prosecutor has made his decision, questions about this decision can be put to him.
The preliminary investigation has been closed. The suspect has left the country and is not expected to return. The conditions / reasons for following up this case abroad or extradition to Sweden is absent'.
However, the said nonviolent calm interventionist Les will only gladly return if invited by the Swedish Fig and Vine planters who do not stay 'on the verge' if an order to so so is made. They do not recognise such obediant orders by courts and police to obey imaginary lines. Instead they proceed to transform dangerous places at whim with creativity and dignity. Protest is not part of their remit - initiating change is, however they would mostly uphold another persons right to protest.
An invitation is hoped for in coming weeks to return.
