English Defence League plans to invade Al Quds Day in London September 4th.

Dorian | 09.08.2010 19:38 | Anti-racism | Repression | Social Struggles | South Coast | World

The racist & Islamophobic English Defence League are planning to invade Al Quds Day annual demonstration and march in London on September 4th. The English Defence League [EDL] are an Islamophobic, criminal organisation with links to organised racism. They have rioted in Stoke, Luton, Dudley, Bolton etc have placed pig's heads on Mosques and have pulled of Muslim women's clothing.

The Al Quds Day annual demonstration and march starts at Marble Arch at 2pm on September 4th.

The plans to invade the demonstration and march proves that the EDL who claim to be "against Islamist extremists from Muslims Against Crusades [MAC]" are racists who are against Muslims full stop. They will attack any event or meeting with the word Muslim in it.

Stop the EDL! We want Al Quds Day can pass peacefully!

If like me you've never heard of al-Quds day or don't know what it is all about, here is some more information.

It seems it is a political event as well as a religious one.

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quds_Day

Quds Day, officially International al-Quds Day, is an annual event on the last Friday of Ramadan, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and opposing Zionism as well as Israel's control of Jerusalem (both West Jerusalem and occupied-East Jerusalem). Anti-Zionist demonstrations are held on this day in some Muslim and Arab countries, and by Muslim and Arab communities around the world. Participation in protests on Quds Day is particularly strong in non-Arab Iran, where Ayatollah Khomeini first introduced the event

So Al-Quds day, a day supporting palestinian terrorists. Okay, they're not really terrorists, they're freedom fighters. But wait, the day was conceived by the leader of Iran, Khomeini in '79.

The same Iran now imposes the death penalty for homosexuals, in fact they don't even need any evidence, if the judge thinks you're a gayer, then it's get the rope time.

But you guys are alright with that, aren't you? Only certain people have rights, not every body?

So all you lefties, what about gay rights? What about animal welfare? What about women's rights and equality? I thought you were all up for that? Hypocrites, every last one of you.

yeah yeah 'RH' and others, you haven't got a clue who uses this site, nor who the 'hard-left' are. anyway, keep putting up your shite articles and comments on here, no-one gives a fuck about you, nor some bullshit you are against. you are irrelevant. you are so politically inept you are laughable, you have done the nose dive off the level.... goodbye. a big hello to your MI5 and Zionist organisers!

The Left should be opposing this march, never mind the EDL: this is the day all the various Islamic extremists come out, we will see Muslim against Crusades and the 57 varieties of radical Islam in the UK marching.

When are we going to see such people march against the stoning of innocent women in Iran, the execution of gay people and for an IUK poster to approvingly cite Khomeni who murdered many leftists, communists, liberal, etc is sickening and one has to wonder what has happened to IUK

oh, and btw, we have a economic crisis on our hands, millions to be made redundant, the unemployed facing cuts and more harrasment, more homelessness with the housing benefits changes

get your priorities right,

real left

 http://www.ihrc.org.uk/activities/alerts/9427-event-alert-uk-the-annual-al-quds-day-march-2010

"The Annual Al-Quds Day Demonstration and Rally is confirmed to take place in London on Saturday 4th September 2010. This is a major national event with thousands of people coming from up and down the country in support of Palestine and the Palestinian people. Stand with us, united for the Palestinian cause!"

Supporting organisations include: AhlulBayt Islamic Mission, Friends of Lebanon, Innovative Minds, Islamic Centre of England, Islamic Human Rights Commission, Islamic Student Association UK, Lebanese Community UK, Muslim Association of Britain, and Palestine Return Centre."

Some 'real leftie' has decided that this is the face of 'radical Islam' - next he (and it's almost definitely a he) will be outside mosques with placards saying no more mosques.

'real left' asked:

No doubt 'real left' is a frequent visitor to Iran and can tell what is demonisation and what is true, as he dances to the same tune as the politicos and media.....

On the other hand 'real left' appears unable to tell the difference between quoting wikipedia and 'approvingly citing' Khomeini.

Yup - so screw the victims of western imperialism - lets just worry about how we can screw more out of them.

Not a 'real left' I have any time for at all.It looks just like the EDL and the establishment.
