Big Business Big Bang is not worthy of celebration when it is causing poverty

Muhammad Haque/Khoodeelaar/CBRUK/LCAN 2006 | 26.10.2006 18:08 | Analysis | Indymedia | Social Struggles | London | World

The City of London Corporation and Big Business allies have been boasting of their achievements in occupying the huge land that is in Tower Hamlets. In none of the Big Business-compliant 'international media' including the massively corrupt and corrupting NYTimes and its allies, has there been any recognition of the cost to the people whose rights have been denied and whose entitlements taken away to allow the robbery of their rights to take place

This robbery plot is being given another veneer of legitimacy under the covers of alleged celebrations of the deregulation of the London Stock Exchange. They are doing this by telling another Big Lie. The lie being that CrossRail is the same as regenerating the real parts of the economy that has been being depressed for the very same period that the City of London are celebrating since the Stock Exchange rules were changed 20 years ago.

They are however caught out in their brazen lying. They have NOT once mentioned Essex. They only mention Canary Wharf being linked with the Heathrow airport and other international flight points.

Yet in all their lying promotions aimed at selling the Big Crossrail hole lie to the target victims of the Crossrail takeover plot, they have been snidely promoting the claim that Crossrail would bring benefits to them.

Especially they have been saying in other platforms especially before the poodles committee also known as the MPs Crossrail Bill select committee, that the Whitechapel area would be regenerated by a Crossrail hoel station being set up there.

Yet when it comes to the really grabbing, gritty plugs for the City of London in the context of Crossrail ; they do not recognise Whitechapel at all. Just as they don't recognise any other parts of the picture of the 'Crossrail route' which they otherwise very elaborately present to make the falsehood -filled Crossrail plot look relevant to ordinary communities' economic and socially inclusive welfare. The Crassness of the plot is total when their lying is so completely transparent and brazen.

It is time that what remains of a UK elected parliament got woken up to the facts and put a stop to the CRASSrail project.

There is no economic reason for having the City of London expanded at the expense of bigger parts of the community of people in the London area, who will bear the economic and the poverty-adding burdens of the CRASSrail misadventure.,

Stop the lies-filled Crossrail juggernaut now.
