A 60 video entered into the BAFTA/ORANGE 60 seconds Fame competition, featuring clips from Stonehenge Solstice Celebration, G8 street scene from Princes St in Edinbourg with riot police and footage from the party culture.
The new media wave moves beyond text to images as people become more and more interested in imagary as a form of sharing and receiving information.

This was my first edit ever, I had just heard about the competition a week before the entry date - Most of me thought it impossible to achieve an entry in time having never used the program and all of my footage being wrapped up in 100 hours of uncaptured tape - but enuf of me decided to go for it and it was down to the wire. Out of 100 hours of tape I selected 3 1/2 hours of clips , from there I had to condense it all into 60 seconds, it was an amazing task and a real learning curve that took me from having my nose pressed up against the glass wanting to be a film maker to feeling that it is actually a real possibility.
I have been writing text for years as an activist, but many people do not have the patience to read too much, I believe that video imagagery is the way forward in communicating ideas and vision.
