MORE TELMEX PHONES VANDALIZED (Mexico)

anonymous report:

"Sabotage to 4 telmex telephones.

On Saturday, November 8, with the means within our reach we sabotaged 4 public telephones belonging to the super millionaire Carlos Slim and his business telmex. Telmex not only financially supports bullfights, but is also one of the major destroyers of the planet.
These sabotages will not stop... until the end of exploitation of flora and fauna.
For animal liberation... commitment and direct action...

eco-anarchist cell for direct attack.

mexico city (d.f.) november 9, 2008"

DOG RESCUED FROM VIVISECTION (Colombia)

reported on Liberación Total:  http://liberaciontotal.entodaspartes.net

"In an action of liberation by an autonomous cell of the FLA in Colombia a puppy who was going to be used in vivisection by students of the local university was removed from a stall.
We learn, but not in a system that replicates itself ignorantly; death to hierarchy, death to speciesism!
Resistance, Anarcho-veganism and Action!

FALSE BOMBS LEFT ON DOORSTEPS OF EXPLOITERS (Mexico)

anonymous communique (translation):

"In a first joint action: an informal coordination of groups and
individuals for action and for animal and earth liberation,
between 4 and 5 in the morning of Friday, November 7,
10 'Bonanno devices' (these are: false bombs, molotov's,
incendiary devices... that in this case were 10 false bombs)
were placed at the seats of capitalism and exploitation.
Those that received this warning were: Burger King's, McDonald's and K.F.C..
In addition to being a sabotage against the exploitation of flora and fauna,
the second purpose of this action was to create 'nervousness and paranoia
in the institutions of the repressive state', and to break the imposed social order, since those who defend capitalism also defend animal exploitation.
In this decentralized action the 'Bonanno devices' were distributed
in different areas of the State of Mexico and Mexico City.
The informal coordination of groups and individuals for action and for
animal and earth liberation is an informal organization of cells and
anonymous individuals that actively struggle to abolish exploitation and capitalism.
The Frente de Liberacion Animal, part of this action, is already being
seen as a threat, because in all the newspapers of Mexico
the news was about an 'animal extremist group;' we know that
stronger battles will come and we are ready to fight them.
Those of us who shape this organization claim ourselves: young
autonomous, subversive and rebellious, maintaining a permanent conflict
against capitalism, exploitation and the state.
Not one step back ... against exploitation ... direct action and confrontation!
This action is claimed by:
The informal coordination of groups and individuals for action and for animal and earth liberation:

-Frente de liberacion animal [Animal Liberation Front]
-brigada de combate vegano barry horne [Brigade of Vegan Fighter Barry Horne]
-The Angry Vegan Brigade
-Milicias por los derechos de los animales [Militias for Animal Rights]
-F.L.A. celula 5 [ALF cell 5]
-Comando verde negro [Green-Black Commando]
-Celula eco-anarquista por el ataque directo [Eco-Anarchist Cell for Direct Attack]
-Circulo autonomo de accion por la liberacion [Autonomous Circle of Action for Liberation]
-Brigada subversiva 11 de septiembre. [September 11 Subversive Brigade]

BARRY this action was for you!!!!"

INCENDIARY ATTACK ON BURGER KING (Mexico)

received anonymously (translation):

"NOVEMBER 6: INCENDIARY ATTACK AGAINST A FAST FOOD ESTABLISHMENT IN MEXICO CITY (D.F.)

In the evening of Thursday, November 6 we painted various slogans referring to animal liberation on the walls and windows of a Burger King; immediately after, a couple of molotov cocktails were launched at strategic points in this place of capitalism and exploitation.
We claim this action as an act of solidarity with the FRENTE DE LIBERACION ANIMAL DE MEXICO for its strong activity and confrontation.
But it was also in memory of an active warrior for freedom: BARRY HORNE...
This week is already a week of action in his memory.
Fighters like Barry are remembered as they would like to be remembered:
Bringing war without mercy to the exploiters and capitalists.

Against the state and capital .... social war!
For freedom ... Until they fall!

c.s.e.c.p.

Mexico City (D.F.) November 7 2008"

URBAN ART AS A METHOD OF STRUGGLE (Mexico)

anonymous report:

"November 7:

'Animal Liberation', 'Meat is murder' and other graffiti were painted on a federal highway, after breaking a barrier.

Urban art as a method of struggle for radical propaganda!

Crew of Vegan Graffiti (CGV)"

>>

POULTRY COMPANY HIT BY STINK BOMB (Mexico)

reported anonymously:

"On November 6 in one of the many establishments of the murderous company Bachoco, we, activists from the Frente de Liberación Animal, had thrown a stink bomb, demonstrating that the subjugation, the
enslavement, the torture and the murder stinks of just one thing, death.

Barry Horne continues on with us!

FLA Mexico"

2000 MINK RELEASED FROM CAGES (Italy)

According to a newspaper in northern Italy, someone entered a fur farm in Via Mazzarana (Mercadello di Novi, Modena) early in the morning of November 5 and opened the cages of around 2,000 mink. Some of the mink were recaptured but many are still free in the fields surrounding the farm. The farm was subject to a similar raid seven years ago.

CHICKENS RESCUED, IN MEMORY OF BARRY HORNE (Mexico)

received anonymously (translation);
click here for additional photos:  http://directaction.info/images2/Mexico_hens_Nov08/FrameSet.htm

"Prepared and determined activists of the Frente de Liberación Animal – Comando Verde Negro (FLA-CVN) took to the streets November 5 to remember the struggle and fight of our compañero Barry Horne.

We had been thinking about visiting another target when suddenly a truck that was transporting chickens for slaughter was ahead of us. Inside a building the killers were crowding animals into small boxes to later bring them to a certain death; in a spontaneous action, in anger, not caring whether we were discovered, we quickly snatched from the truck 8 hens and carried them to freedom.

With this liberation and other acts of sabotage throughout this year of direct action in Mexico, we showed the exploiters that the struggle of our fellow fighter Barry has not ceased and that on the contrary it is increasing.

Barry Horne, an inspiration for the ALF and other groups in Mexico and throughout the world.

FLA-CVN"

BOAR LIBERATED, FOR BARRY (Spain)

anonymous communique (translation):

"On Nov. 5, 2001 Barry Horne gave his life for animal liberation. Seven years later we, a group of activists, continue his fight through direct action.

In the early hours of November 5, 2008 with bolt cutters we broke the padlock of the estate of a society of hunters in the village of Vizcaya. They had a boar caged inside waiting to be killed. We opened the gate and released him.

Each year in Euskadi, hunters kill tens of thousands of animals. We have saved one. It may sound insignificant, but he has found freedom.

Anyone can carry out sabotage and liberations. Do not look for a leader to propose it to you, just do it!

F.L.A."

FREEDOM FOR THOUSANDS OF MINK (Italy)

anonymous communique received by activists in Italy:

"November 2, 2008 - Rome

Tonino Sbardella has been ruining the lives of thousands of mink for years inside the 15 sheds of his concentration camp on Mink Road in San Cesareo (Roma).
Inside the farm there were a lot of old cages that have been replaced by new cages, a few centimetres bigger... centimetres we do not care about... We do not want to see any living being inside bigger cages.
Tonight thousands of mink had the opportunity to feel real freedom, made of soft ground and running water to dive in.
Someone will say that many of the mink will end up under the tyres of cars, but we ask you: is there so much difference from a life in a cage waiting for a death sentence that has already been decided? We know the answer and tonight we acted, tearing down fences and opening all the cages.
This action, for those sharing our ideas, is an invitation to take part in the struggle, acting in this direction and going beyond your fears.
As it has been written on the walls of the farm:
'Freedom cannot be asked for, it can only be taken!'"

This farm has been raided at least three times before, in December 2007*, March 2005** and in 1998.

WINDOWS SMASHED AT BARBECUE RESTAURANT, FISH COMPANY (Sweden)

recent actions in Umeå, northern Sweden:

"Umeå 16 september: We visited the fish company Gavlefisk AB and smashed their windows to show what we think of their dirty business. ALF

Umeå october: 20 hunting platforms were turned over and destroyed in the forests around Umea. ALF

Umeå 10 october: Numerous windows were smashed at the Resturang Garaget. The restaurant lives off of barbecuing whole lambs and other animals and earlier this year the owner got to fullfill his childhood dream, to barbecue a whole 270kg ox. ALF

Umeå 16 october: The fishing store Blixtsport, who makes money out of selling fishing equipment made for thetorture and killing of fish, got their windows smashed. ALF

Umeå 26 october: The Resturang Garaget was visited again and got their new windows smashed.

Umeå 3 november: All the locks on the Resturang Garaget was glued to show what we think of their torturing business. ALF"

BARCLAYS BANK GLUED SHUT (UK)

York Stock Exchange, ALF volunteers glued shut a Barclays Bank in the
west. Dump HLS and the NYSE to stop the sabotage.

PHEASANT PEN CUT UP, GROUSE BUTTS TOPPLED (UK)

anonymous communique:

"A recent visit to the White Crag Plantation, found just next to Ilkley Moor, led to fencing of a pheasant pen being cut and brought down. This fencing has been recycled following a similar incident, we guess that if you have several pieces of fencing all with large holes, and you use them to cover each other, it makes one solid piece of fence. However, after our last visit this is no more. Two water butts were smashed up and pheasant feeders tipped over and their springs removed. Two bags of pheasant feed were also emptied.

After this some nearby grouse butts were toppled.

It is clear that the concern of Councillor Anne Hawksworth over grouse population stretches only so far as to her position in the shooting fraternity. She supports the small bunch of shooting extremists led by Edward Bromet to pleasure themselves over the killing of the artificially managed grouse, while persecuting other animals that rightfully belong to the moor; and we declare this attitude as disgraceful.

We call for Ilkley Moor to be a haven for wildlife and not a killing zone, demarcated by a few fanatics who wish to boast about their 'pursuits'

The following link exactly demonstrates the ridiculous nature of Hawksworths moor management schemes. The population of grouse across Rombalds moor have been decimated, and any serious walker would testify to that fact,

Stop the Ilkley Shoot.

ANTI-BULLFIGHT GRAFFITI (Spain)

received anonymously:

"I have been vegan for a couple of years and I am starting to read about the philosophy and strategy of the A.L.F. The story of Barry Horne moved me, and the other day I decided to go to the town center (in Córdoba) to do some graffiti ('Bullfighter murderer', 'Neither racism nor speciesism', 'Torture is not art or culture', etc). I think that I will return soon to repeat it at a butcher shop, farm or other center of exploitation."

BIRDS SAFE FROM HUNTERS, FARMERS (Italy)

extracts from anonymous communiques received by La Nemesi magazine:

"Renate (Milano) - Italy
20 october 2008

18 singing birds have been liberated from a hunting cabin. They were used by hunters to call other birds. The same place had been emptied one year ago.
All the cages holding the birds have been smashed.
The birds have been released in a no-hunting area. One that was unable to fly is being cared for in a house, waiting for his moment to reach freedom."

- - -

"Cantù (como) - Italy
october

12 ducks have been liberated from a small farm already raided some months ago. These animals have been released in a lake.
The rabbits freed during the previous action, where the cages had been smashed, have not been replaced. This time only the hens could not be taken because the activists didn't have a house to keep them."

"Brunate (Como) - Italy
9 september.

Two hunting towers destroyed."

VEHICLES SABOTAGED AT UCLA? (USA)

anonymous communique:

"The torure of monkeys continues therefore so shall we.
In thinking of the things that are of importance to the University of Los Angeles, sadly, with high moral standards, fair and just treatment of the innocent and vunerable animals, and responsible and safe medicine not being on the list, we have taken a sudden interest in college football.
For starters, a couple of your team players left the Knapp footbal centre with a new rattling sort of sound in their mufflers as they drove away from a recent practice. Some more mufflers might just be exploding in the near future. Deny it if you like UCLA. We know they are in there.
We will also be attending the game at the Rose Bowl on the 8th to have a look around. Go Bruins! You might spot us. We will be the chaps who look like college students attnending a football game.

We know that the non animal protocols exist. UCLA needs to apply them and lay off of the torturing.
That's when we retire.

ALF"
