A Palestinian teen was found dead in the Jordan valley as settlers attack and destroy farm lands in the southern West Bank, these stories and more coming up, stay tuned.

The News Cast

An 18 year old Palestinian boy was found dead on Wednesday in the West Bank city of Jericho, Palestinian sources reported.

The Palestinian police announced that residents had found the boy in the morning. The police added that the body of the boy had stab wounds.

Medical sources identified the boy as Khaled Barabra, from the northern West Bank City of Tulkarem, that used to live Jericho with his family.

Elsewhere, a group of Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian owned lands located near the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

Local sources said that the lands are owned by farmers from Safa village near Hebron. They added that at a certain point the fire came very close to the nearby Beit Ein settlement.

Israeli troops then stopped the fire from the settlement side but kept it going from the Palestinian side, witnesses reported.

Villagers said that the soldiers refused them to go to their lands to stop the fire, only after international peace activists arrived the soldiers left allowing the villagers to stop the fire.

The villagers added that the fire destroyed at least one acre of land.

Also on Wednesday, the Israeli military kidnapped at least five Palestinian civilians from different parts of the West Bank.

Palestinian sources announced that invasions were reported in the city of Hebron and Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank as well as Jenin in the north.

The Israeli army radio announced that the men were taken to detention camps for questioning. The radio added that all those kidnapped are on what the army calls the “Wanted List”.
