An Israeli air strike kills one Palestinian in Gaza shortly before 35 Indonesian parliamentarians visit besieged coastal region, these stories and more are coming up, stay tuned.

Israeli air force bombarded al-Shujaeya neighborhood in Gaza city killing one Palestinian resident and wounding another on Monday night, Palestinian sources reported.

The source added that the attack was carried out by an unmanned drone, and was immediately followed by artillery shells form the Israeli forces positioned on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.

The slain resident was identified as Bassam Badwan, 29. Badwan died of his wounds after his legs were severed from his body and due to numerous wounds to other parts of his body.

This attack came shortly before a number of Indonesian parliamentarians arrived in the Gaza Strip, on Tuesday morning in a visit that can be described as part of the international efforts to break the 4-year old siege.

The 35 Parliamentarians, headed by the head of the Indonesian parliament, Marzouqi Ali, managed to cross into Gaza, on Tuesday morning, via the Rafah Border Terminal.

They will be holding meetings with several legislators of the Change and Reform Bloc of Hamas, and government heads in Gaza.

Also part of the Arab siege-breaking efforts, eight ships are expected to set sail to the Gaza Strip in the coming two months, coming from the Arab gulf, said, Dr. Mahmoud Azzahaar, a senior political leader of Hamas.

In an interview with the Independent British paper on Monday, The Hamas leader said that he was informed by some individuals in the Gulf that after the World Cup games end, at least eight ships would be sailing to Gaza.

Iran has called of two boats that were supposed to sail to Gaza, this month. The reason behind calling the trip off remain unknown. Israel has threatened to use force against the Iranian boats. Tension between Israel and Iran is already high and both are ringing the bells of war against each other.

In the meantime, U.S. Middle East Peace Envoy, George Mitchell, will start a two-day tour in Israel and the Palestinian territories, on Tuesday.

Mitchell will be holding talks with senior Israeli and Palestinian officials. The talks will focus on the attempt to boost indirect talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
