On the 9th of July it was 50 years since the US imperialists concluded the "Status of Forces Agreement " with south Korea which gave US troops unlimited power over south Korea . Today 9th of July is the 50th anniversary of the conclusion by the south Korean puppets and US imperialists of the "Status of Forces Agreement " . The SOFA gave a carte blanche to the US imperialists and their troops in south Korea to do whatever they liked with total impunity.
As the North Side Headquarters of the Nationwide Special Committee for Probing the Truth behind the GIs' Massacres so correctly points out " modern-day slavery agreement that justified the U.S. imperialist aggressors' presence in south Korea and granted them unrestricted privileges in all aspects including jurisdiction and use of land and facilities, and as a humiliating and treacherous agreement unprecedented in the world as it left the sovereignty of south Korea to the tender mercy of the U.S.
For the last five decades, the U.S. imperialist aggressors, styling themselves a de facto ruler and occupier of south Korea and an entity with extraterritoriality under the pretext of the agreement, inflicted all unspeakable misfortune and pain on its people".
The SOFA has turned south Korea into a modern type of colony with no independence.US troops commit all sorts of crimes such as murder and rape . The US imperialists are ripping off the south Korean people for huge sums of money in "upkeep expenses ".
