Proud Arabs & Texan Oilmen

This video sets out to answer the question why the Gulf War happened.

Drawing on war footage, some of it never shown on British television before, it includes interviews with Tony Benn, Noam Chomsky, Alan Clark, Michael Ignatiev, Rana Kabbani and Olga Maitland.

The UN served as a rallying point for the US led onslaught on the Gulf, but it failed to deal with the aftermath and has been unwilling to resolve any of the other conflicts that still divide a world where the one remaining super power calls the shots.

The promised "new world order" has proved to be a chimera.

No Man’s Land

In 1993 during the war in Bosnia, a relief unit of Bosinian soldiers gets lost in the night fog and in the morning, inadvertantly find themselves in the direct line of Serbian forces. The unit is quickly cut down except for one soldier, Èici, who was lucky enough to fall into a trench in no man's land with only a relatively minor wound. While working out his situation, a veteran Serb solider and his green partner, Nino, survey the site and prepare a landmine boobytrap under the body of Èici's comrade, Èera. Èici attacks and kills the veteran and captures Nino even though they are both in danger between the warring sides. The situation is made much worse when Èici is revealed to be alive, but remain on top of the mine to prevent the death of them all. Now, this trio must find some way to escape this hopeless situation even while other factors like Sergeant Marchand of the UN Peacekeeping forces wages his own frustrating effort to rescue the trio with the help of an aggressive TV reporter. Yet the situation looks bleak while indifferent UN officers, superficial reporters and especially the deep seated mutual ethnic hatred of the trench dwellers work to undermine any chance of a sane solution in this absurd theatre of war.

Not In My Name

"Not in my name" is a powerful new documentary film which tells the story of the U.S. led war on terrorism you DIDN'T see on TV. Why is dropping bombs on or firing cruise missiles at innocent civillians not considered 'terrorism' by the Western military?
"Not in my name" explains the background to the attacks on Afghanistan, charts the growth of the anti-war movement and offers a chilling insight to the dangers of U.S. led imperialism. Which country will NATO attack next? Who are the REAL terrorists?

Three Kings

In the days immediately after the Gulf War, a group of American soldiers come across a secret Iraqi map, which discloses the whereabouts of a bunker where Iraq is storing stolen gold and treasure from Kuwait. The soldiers hope to take the gold and keep it for themselves. However, when they arrive at the site, they discover that the Iraqi army is more concerned about persecuting its civilians than stopping them from stealing the gold. They learn that the civilians have been encouraged by the U.S. government to rise up and fight Sadaam Hussein, but are facing certain execution because the U.S. military refuses to help them. This incident creates a crisis of conscience for the American soldiers. Do they take the money and run, leaving the civilians to face certain death at the hands of the Iraqi army? Or do they risk losing the gold in order to escort them to safety across the border into Iran?
