A poll has appeared on the CNBC-TV website which asks, 'Would you implant an RFID chip? The radio frequency chips are becoming more popular. But would you put one in your body?'

Recent article submissions have been censored ...er sorry ...hidden by IndyMedia UK because they breach an unspecified newswire guideline. As there does not appear to be a clear breach of any of the guidelines it can only be speculated that the 'hidden' guidelines that any article which is contributed by a known 'spiracy fearist must be disappeared. Likewise, any article which is critical of the government ...er sorry ...IndyMedia UK must be oppressed ...er sorry ...repressed ...er suppressed.

Now that the technology of RFID implants has been accepted and is the topic of a poll on a mainstream news website no doubt the knives will be out because this article now breaches a whole host of guidelines:

Repeated: Yes, we have been repeatedly trying to make this point for some time, no thanks to IndyMedia UK.

Non-news: Yes, that's true too. Again, thanks to IndyMedia UK. When it was news, you thought we were all crazy!

Discrimination? Well, possibly on a technicality. But not promoting fascism, more trying to highlight it, really.

Inaccurate? Well, (some) past articles have quoted chapter and verse only to be ridiculed. This is just a poll, so until it is finished and a mathematician with a standard deviation tape measure reports his findings, we won't know!

Advertising? Veri-Chip product placement?

Hierarchy? 'The newswire is not a notice-board for political parties or any other hierarchically structured organizations'. Well, that's everybody screwed then!
