It's Robert Fisk writing as usual: 75% of the article is acceptable - he's writing what we want to read, and think is correct - and than - as always in between the falsification of the facts - as Fisk writes blaming Lebanon: "they did after all provoke this savage conflict with their own reckless crossing of the border."
The lie that Hezbollah started the destruction of Lebanon by Israel is what Fisk is trying to imply all the time. From an international journalism point of view Fisk also belongs to the 'Chomskys' of our world. He is not reliable and 'fixes the facts' around the US/Israel/UK 'policy'.
What many people in Lebanon are doing - and the people everywhere in the by the US/Israeli war machine occupied countries - is resistance; the fight against the killing invaders in whatever way.
The people in the resistance - like we all and everywhere - have according to all international Conventions and laws the full legal right to fight the murdering mercenaries of the US/Israeli war machine. Or anybody else invading their territory. It has nothing to do with being 'muslim' or 'white anglo saxon protestants' (Wasp) or whatever: murder is murder. And we are 6.5 billion people on earth who do not like murder, whoever does it: Djengis Khan, Pol Pot, Sharon, Bush, Blair or whomever.
