Three people death, I hearded the shots at 22.09, although far away; drive-by shooting. PFP house searches. Militaries are comming in now.
Also reports of armed gangs patrolling the city.
I had to take cover 5 times in a small room in the hotel from tear gas, while PFP and APPO where exchanging eachother in the streets.
Surreal; a very few cars enter on their normal Saterday evening; going to the bars. I'm hungry, but the door is double locked. If I leave, I can't enter till morning, the hotel owener says.

18:17 People around the Siete Príncipes area are being asked to move westward. The air is very heavy around Colón and Melchor Ocampo. People are being asked to take up positions at high points on the west side to avoid gas poisoning.

17:19 On Alcalá Street there’s a lot of gas. People are ringing the bells at Santo Domingo.
17:17 Radio Universidad of Oaxaca reports: With no prior warning and without being provoked, the Federal Preventive Police began to throw teargas grenades and projectiles at the peaceful demonstration.
17:16 The PFP is throwing teargas grenades at the demonstrators from the rooftops.
17:15 Radio Universidad of Oaxaca reiterates that the PFP has begun the aggression against peaceful demonstrators. Individuals are throwing teargas grenades from buildings in the downtown area.

16:47 The center of the city is now surrounded by the march. Barricades have been set up. Things are somewhat tense because PRI members are verbally provoking people.

15:39 The PFP is being encircled. The first part of the march is at the zócalo and the rest of the march is on its way.
15:39 Radio Barricada has outwitted the forces trying to isolate it by changing frequency. It’s now broadcasting on 92.1 FM in Oaxaca.

15:11 Two hours ago “another FM transmission” began to block Radio Barricada’s broadcast. Now there’s only silence.
15:00 The first contingent of the march has arrived at the zócalo, but the march is so long that part of it is still passing by Santo Domingo.
14:34 The march is on course. Around 50,000 people have almost reached the zócalo (main plaza) in the city of Oaxaca. People are coming out of their houses to show support.
14:42 At Candiani, homage was paid to compañero Alejandro, who fell during the resistance in Oaxaca demanding the ouster of the governor.
14:32 PFP aggression on Independence Street against the driver of a car that was being followed on Avenida Independencia. He was going to demonstrate peacefully with other neighborhood people.
14:30 On Radio Mapache they’re saying that there are only a thousand people marching and that people are hiding in their houses because the judicial police are about to arrest people. They’re saying that APPO members are armed.
14:19 People are stretched out over several kilometers to demand justice. “The opportunity to see a people demand justice is one of the great pleasures that life has given us.”
14:18 Radio Universidad of Oaxaca on the Air reports: Hundreds of thousands of citizens are arriving at Candiani Avenue.
13:51 A Radio Universidad correspondent reports that rumors are going around to the effect that the PFP is attacking some parts of the march, but people in the march deny it. They say rumors like these are just part of the terror imposed on the Oaxacan movement by the government.
13:46 A black truck has picked up two compañeros at the Cinco Señores barricade.
13:40 The march is just getting to Simbolos Patrios.
13:32 A reporter on “Hooligan Radio” has infiltrated the march and is reporting about what’s going on during the march.
13:30 On Citizens’ Radio (which is to say, hooligan radio, or state terrorist radio), they’re saying that warrants will be served against APPO members during today’s march.
13:29 It’s reported that a truck kidnapped a young man on Calicanto Street at 13:29.
13:29 The PFP agents in gray uniforms are using their anti-riot equipment, while those in black uniforms and commanders carry automatic weapons.
13:22 PFP agents climbed up on a building across from the HSBC bank to throw things at the people. They’ve put up electrically charged barbed wire on some streets.
13:15 A direct report from within the march: "At every step we take, more and more people are coming out to join the march. There are at least 100,000 of us now.”
13:07 Radio Universidad of Oaxaca repeats that the demonstration in the city of Oaxaca will go on all day long (at least), so nobody has to worry about being late.
12:15 No interference is heard on Radio Universidad today.
11:54 The march is advancing towards the center of the city from Santa María Coyotepec. It’s estimated that there are now 10,000 people participating.
11:51 The march is being led by APPO Council members, followed by family members of prisoners, then traditional authorities, and joined at Santa María Coyotepec by teachers from the coastal area.
