"ASK THE DUCK" (Mexico)
"ASK THE DUCK" (Mexico)

anonymous communique (translation):

"It is already known that the Frente de Liberacion Animal (FLA/ALF) has as its objective (in addition to causing economic damages to animal abusers) the rescue and liberation of animals from the clutches of the speciesist murderer. Lamentably the tools that are used by the FLA are illegal by law and by the established order that considers animal liberation activists to be terrorists.

As the Frente de Liberacion Animal Mexico (FLAM) we feel that if to save animals from being mistreated, tortured, persecuted, hunted, imprisoned and murdered is to be a terrorist, then that is what we are and we love it!

Throughout history all the progress of civilization has come from attacks against laws and each liberator has been listed as an illegal; this is why as a militant, clandestine group, we put our freedom at stake to avenge and give freedom to other living beings victimized by the ego-centrism and the degenerated feelings of the human animal influenced by capitalist, neo-liberal globalization.

The sun has already been hidden a thousand times, said the duck, while he watched the cars pass. He watched the people stop and with feelings of pity say: What a pretty imprisoned duck; the sad duck sleeps with no one for company, without knowing what it is to be truly free, waking every morning and looking at the sky, admiring his bird brothers and sisters flying from one side to the other. They stop in the trees and look for food; he listens to them singing happy songs; he dreams that some day freedom will arrive and pining to go from the cage where he is shut away, the body will mend itself from this monotony.
On the night of March 2, while he was sleeping, he heard noises. Some humans dressed in black, with ski masks covering their faces approached. They jumped a gate; the duck quacked saying Free me immediately I don't want to be here! The humans wrapped him with a blanket, put him in a box and they carried him away.
The duck, watching through the holes in the box, did not know what was passing before his eyes, but surely it was something good, so he wasn't nervous. Soon the cage was opened and he saw the great sun which he always watched, looking at the rest of his brothers and sisters flying, feeding himself on what they had around them. He saw water in a much greater quantity than the little that he saw before in his dirty plate of food. The environment had a distinct aroma, the air moved his feathers, his legs touched the moist earth and at last he felt free. He fluttered his wings with great force, vigor and happiness and now this duck, hoping to be rescued and released, that had been disappointed by the cowardice of those who shout 'Animal Liberation' and do nothing for them, is free at last. Is direct action useless? Ask the duck.

FLAM"

MINK FREED FROM WIRE PRISONS (Germany)

excerpts from an anonymous communique (rough translation):

"During the night of February 26, 2008 to February 27, 2008, we succeeded in freeing hundreds of mink-- out of the breeding stock at the fur farm Gleinermühle 3* in Söllichau/Saxony-Anhalt-- from their wire prisons, into the freedom of the Dübener Heide nature reserve. . . .

We justify this act with the fact that the breeding and killing of "fur animals" for the purposes of producing completely unnecessary luxury items in no way justifies the cruelty and mass slaughter of intelligent, thinking and sentient beings. The right to liberty and integrity of life is in our eyes a right that all animals deserve.

We therefore call on the staff of the Heiterblick GmbH and all other fur farms and production and marketing companies in this bloody industry to look for other jobs. Mail carrier, teacher or astronaut for example - that would save you and us a lot of stress and the animals senseless agony. . . .

We continue to fight until the last cage empty.

Sincerely,
A group of the A.L.F"

CARS TORCHED AT VIVISECTION SUPPLIER (Italy)

anonymous communique:

"Rome - 25 February
We left incendiary devices under two cars of 'Plaisant' in Fonte Nuova (Rome).
'Plaisant' offers services to vivisection labs... we offer them a purifying fire.

For all the animals still dying,

Fire and freedom group"

POULTRY BUSINESS PAINTED (Mexico)

received anonymously (translation):

"March 1:

There is no doubt that economic sabotage of animal abusers causes a long list of expenses and material losses, even before we take into account the anger and fury that these bastards feel when they see that animal liberation activists have attacked their businesses; this damage has been seen on several occasions when the Animal Liberation Front - Commando Green Black (CVN-FLA) has acted in the name of our tortured and caged animal brothers and sisters.

As in past actions, FLA-CVN used red paint as a tool that to our thinking is one of the more visible protests and is very difficult to remove or rub out from the speciesist businesses and which also reflects the spilled blood of our comrades murdered by the hands of the inhumane and capitalist speciesists; it is for this reason that our new action was focused on the domestic business, Bachoco, that has ties with murderous multinationals such as KFC and McDonalds among others. By dawn of the first day of March, liters of red permanent paint were sprayed on their curtains and floors. The paint read 'Murderers!,' an accusation that we support.

We remind all bourgeois speciesists that these mild actions of economic sabotage are just the beginning; they can count on there being consequences for remaining in these sick businesses.

FOR THE ANIMALS: JUSTICE! JUSTICE!

FLA-CVN-MEXICO"

JAPANESE CONSULATE ATTACKED (Italy)

reported by activists in Italy:

"'Japan: terror of the sea'
Milan, evening of February 21

A little effort and a few minutes were enough to express to the Japanese consulate a fraction of the hatred we feel for the disgusting slaughter of whales that is now taking place in the waters off Antarctica.
With abundant paint we smeared the door and walls
With glue we closed the lock on the door and then we left messages to clarify the reason for our actions:
'STOP THE WHALE MASSACRE', 'MURDERERS', 'EXECUTIONERS'. The embassies and consulates of Japan all over the world must know of the hatred for the government that they represent and the desire for revenge.
The whole world has seen the terrible images of a whale, harpooned and hoisted onto a ship while slowly dying.
Japan has decided, for so-called scientific purposes, to continue to kill these wonderful animals pushing them toward extinction.
It remains for us to respond in our way ...
VIVA SEA SHEPHERD"

20 RABBITS FREED (Germany)

reported by activists in Germany (rough translation):  http://www.tierbefreier.de/alf

"In February 2008, a cell of the ALF visited a private rabbit farm with about 20 animals and freed all the captive animals. These animals are no longer threatened with a death sentence. With this action, we also want to bring attention to animal suffering, especially in rural areas; not only in the animal factories and mass stables do animals wait for liberation, but countless rabbits, poultry, etc. are held for slaughter at private animal exploiters.

For a nonviolent diet!
