Good until..

16.06.2008 08:34

Yes i would say it was a very good event, we went just to have a peep left over 4 hours latter.. Come back to the mighty bison and somehow i ended on stage with them fuck that was fun.. However one of the bisto kids comes across in my face all aggressive i displaced the little fucker by conversation, we could have given him some class justice but a park full of the middle class we would have been in the wrong.

I still have the same old hassels, and there will be a full write up at my blog next cople of days, and what the fuck? one of the people who organized this event decided southyorkshire pride was not worthy of a bear tent despite the fact they had paid will they give back the cash they have ripped off?

There will be more at  http://projectsheffield.wordpress for now i have to say well done to all involved in all a poastive well organised event..

Peace in The Park come out of the Sheffield Stop The War coalition

16.06.2008 11:38

Peace in The Park come out of the Sheffield Stop The War coalition following the events of September ( http://www.911truth.org) 11th , we all watched with utter disbelieve. The 6th year of Peace in The Park was the more positive of them, we only was going to stay a little while but ended up longer than we expected in conversation with old friends about the state of the nation.

We swapped phone no made plans for walks, to look at The former Union Carbide ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/0742/sets/72157605280804367/) sight and begin what we know will be a long process of doing something positive with this now part demolished location, there are rummer and plans ( http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/archive/index.php/t-60850.html ) to build housing there.

We left to go get some food and rest and to come back to see if help was needed to clean up the awesome pondarosa, as a child i played on here when it was part derelict there was prefabricated building that was a youth club, over the years it has been reclaimed by Mother Earth with the help of humans, i did feel sad to see a little damage but Mother Earth is good at self healing.

When we got back the pernicious evil that is drink had taken over and the monsters loomed large, as though it was the end of days. In a week where ( http://projectsheffield.wordpress.com/42-days-creeping-internment) we was stood talking with happy dave as one of the bisto kids comes into my face and begins his verbal attack, i realised from the moment he come up to me his intentions and by conversation i simply dismissed the little wanker and grass.

It would have been us The Working Class who would have been assaulted and in the wrong not the wanker and grass who was looking for trouble, before this i found myself on stage taking photographs for Dan Sumption ( http://sumption.org) with bison looking at the pissed up monsters of the Middle Class, it was enjoyable to be there now i wait to see the images i got there are a load more ( http://www.flickr.com/groups/peaceinthepark/)

In the week of Peace in The Park, The bill to intern people for 42 Days ( http://projectsheffield.wordpress.com/42-days-creeping-internment) was passed, it will be a long time before it becomes a reality and if like me you value the limited freedoms we have, then there should be some real concern over this latest assault on those freedoms.

Six years on from The events of September ( http://www.911truth.org) 11th , The so called war on terrorism has provoked a irrational fear in people, where 64 per cent of people agree with The 42 days Bill and who knows why The Tory did what he did but as he said there is a pernicious assault on our freedoms and again i find myself in part agreement with the context of his argument.

It is a shame there was not more politics at peace in the park, that the headanist of the bisto kids do not realise the truth of why peace in the park come about, never mind the true politics of headism

There will be more about Union Carbide, Warncliff Side over the next coming weeks and months

Take care now..
