INCENDIARY ATTACK AGAINST BULLRING (Spain)

reported on Acción Vegana (photos from diariodenavarra.es):

"On the night between Wednesday and Thursday we put incendiary devices in the Cascante (Navarra) bullring. They worked and they were effective.

Bullfighting is a symbol of animal exploitation in which bulls are tortured and killed because there are people who find it fun. But we are against all forms of animal exploitation, and we believe in veganism as a response to such exploitation and as a way of life.

We want to dedicate the action to the bulls and horses who have been tortured, humiliated and murdered in this arena that we have burned.

SHOPS AT LEATHER FAIR DESTROYED BY FIRE (Mexico)

anonymous communique (translation):

"Mexico State, November 30, 2008:

Again the commercial area of the town of Coacalco in Mexico State was an easy target for attacks by the MDA.

David Sanchez, the mayor, who was born evil, believes in organizing bullfights of torture and humiliation to bulls, fairs where roosters are exhibited and won as if they were trophies, giving space to circuses with animal prisoners, leather/fur fairs, protecting multinational killers, banks, commercial marketplaces and other institutions complicit in the destruction of the planet; they did not deserve to be attacked by radical activists, because you were the one who was wrong, you and your bastard henchmen.

Well, this morning, we infiltrated the 'expo fair of leather and footwear, León Guanajuato,' and we placed an incendiary device in one of the tents; after 20 minutes the fire burned most of this deviant trade. Shops lined with the skin of horses, cows, snakes. etc., clothes of wool snatched from lambs, jackets made of the skin of murdered pigs and other products were consumed by our anti-speciesist hate.

Many people uninformed or unfamiliar with the movement of sabotage for animal liberation will ask, why did they do it? Did they not care about the traders who lost their merchandise? Don't they respect private property, authority, morals, lives?

And we of the MDA respond, NO, we do not care about the thousands of pesos in losses that we have caused, we do not care about traders who profit at the expense of the pain, torture and suffering of nonhuman animals, just as they do not care that they deprive one who is sentient like them their freedom and torture them to death. We do not care about the civilized morals of respect and tolerance toward it that destroys all of us little by little. We are not going to respect any authority dressed in blue (PAN), tricolor (PRI), yellow (PRD), red (communist parties), much less black (traditional anarchist authorities), nor any 'revolutionary' leader. We're not in favor of their way of life, we are not biocentrists, we are anti-anthropocentrists and we are in favor of Animal, Human and Earth liberation; we will not stop in our attacks even if an exploiter is left wounded or dead; we will delight in what we have done. We are not going to respect the private property of torturers, because we know that to strike the leather/fur industry in this country as we have done will make the filthy owners think twice before establishing their businesses covered with the blood of innocents; just as it is also a clear message to the other industries of planetary destruction: you are in sight and we will not stop until you collapse.

We note that this action was done a few steps from the McDonalds that we sabotaged in October with graffiti and a fake bomb, when the municipal police, instead of fulfilling their duty as 'Mr. Justice,' appeared to be incompetent and powerless clowns, just as they are in reality.

Our words are no joke, we stated in the October communique that the next bomb would be really destructive, we do not lie; we laugh at the criticisms of mediocre people who full of feelings of inferiority said that the fake bombs were just false alarms and that we would not return again; they eat their words.

We likewise scoff at the absurd and groundless criticism of the communists, conservationists, traditional anarchists and others, whose old and authoritarian characters were made to see what they still won't account for; to move from words to actions shows that we are in a struggle to the death with the state and its speciesist lackeys; to demonstrate our vengeance with stones and fire, to strike and to be an individual in an informal organization is effective.

These actions will not stop, on the contrary they will grow; in Mexico the exploiters will no longer have the easy life and will no longer have peace, all the torturers will pay the price.

No more classism in this fight; any person, regardless of social class, who destroys the earth and its inhabitants is an enemy!

For Animal, Human and Earth liberation, radical insurrection!

Why shed tears, if we can instigate them?

HENS LIBERATED FROM 'FREE RANGE' EGG FARM (Canada)

reported anonymously:

"On the night of Nov 27, 20 'free range' hens were liberated from a British Columbia egg farm. Activists entered the barn through an unlocked door and found the hens, many of them too weak to move while lying on the metal grated floor surrounded by other dead and dying birds. The hens are almost completely featherless, all of them have been debeaked right back to their nostrils, and their bottoms are swollen, infected and red.

Free range is not good enough, organic is not good enough, go vegan and leave the animals in peace.

This action was done in solidarity with the turkeys who were mutilated and dismembered on the Aviagen turkey farm in West Virginia which was exposed recently by undercover investigators. We will not stand for these constant attacks on our animal brothers and sisters, you will not get rid of us as we are only getting stronger.

HUNTING TOWER REDUCED TO ASHES (Italy)

reported on finoallafine.info:

"Lanzo D'Intelvi (Como) - Italy
The last hunting tower in the county has been burned. The one burnt down last year has never been rebuilt. 'These hunting towers are given to hunters under paid concession by the city council, now they can give them a couple piles of ashes,' an anonymous communique reads."

LEATHER COMPANY GRAFFITIED (Mexico)

received anonymously:

"November 29:

Graffiti such as 'Fur=Torture', 'No more animal exploitation', 'Torturers', 'F.L.A.' among others were painted on the walls of the Mendele leather/fur company in Mexico City; a bottle of paint was thrown at their windows as well.

Shitty furriers, you are in the sights of THE F.L.A.!

JUNGLE CATS, TROPICAL BIRDS FREED FROM ZOO-ILLOGICAL PARK (Peru)

received anonymously (translation):

"PUBLIC COMMUNIQUE

Lima, November 21, 2008.

Individuals for Animal Liberation.

To the civilian community, visual and written press, environmental groups and collectives and individuals that fight for the abolition of Animal, Human and Earth exploitation, we declare the following:
• On Friday, November 21 of this year, in the early morning hours, we carried out a direct action and rescue for Animal Liberation in the Parque Zoológico Huachipa, located in the city of Lima at Km. 9.5 on the central highway in Peru.
• Our actions were directed at smashing animal exploitation, our efforts focused on the direct action of releasing animals and returning them to their natural habitat.
• We consider it necessary to explain what our action consisted of, due to the blockage of information by the Zoo and the news media that have focused all their attention on the APEC meeting in Lima. We entered between Thursday night and the early hours of Friday morning. We cut and opened more than thirty cages
for birds of different species, managing to free more than 50 birds, including Toucans, Owls and other tropical birds and indigenous species of Peru. We also climbed to the top of the mega cage for birds that has been an animal prison, sabotaging its structure with the hope that birds such as parrots, macaws, pigeons, doves, toucans, and white herons locked up in this mega-aviary could find an exit from this life of imprisonment and fly free. Afterwards we were prepared for the most important part of the action, to carry two jungle cats, ocelots, in cages specially suited to them, and to transfer them to their natural habitat; these animals were transported and later released into wild space, the ecosystem of the low jungle of Peru, in order to give them the possibility of a free life far from the harassing looks of tourists, consumers of animal exploitation.
• We believe it necessary to mention and to denounce animal traffickers and zoos and other responsible parties acting as accomplices of state institutions, acquiring animals from the hands of vile traffickers that find no better business than to imprison these free beings in small spaces like those of the animals we freed. These animals were in small cages, groups of up to eight birds per cage, without the ability to fly or interact freely, they were found with clear symptoms of stress caused by the overcrowding, proximity to their natural predators and lack of sunlight. Many of the animals that we freed were found in an area that was off-limits to visitors of the zoo, that was not even on the map of the park, imprisoned in tents, without sunlight and without sufficient space needed to spread out naturally.
• We denounce as well the imprisonment of rodents, turtles, birds and other small animals in plastic containers with the purpose of serving as food for other species; those we found spinning in circles, typical behavior of animals with nervous disorders caused by confinement, the vast majority waiting for utilization later, demonstrating the falsehood and double talk of the companies that work as alleged institutions of preservation and species conservation, who are truly companies of animal exploitation, always operating with speciesist disregard for the interests of the individuals of other species.
• We also denounce the conditions in which the felines that we released were found; they were located in cages of no more than two square meters, side by side, preventing their free exercise of interests and abilities, destroying their instincts and subjecting their wild nature to the egotistic interests of executives who disguise their business of exploitation as conservation. A claim that we denounce as false, due to the conditions of which we were witnesses to when entering this mega animal prison, where animals supposedly in recuperation were kept locked up for display later as objects of entertainment.
• We want to make a call to all collectives and individuals who struggle and are active for Animal, Human and Earth Liberation to act directly towards achieving total liberation, taking into account the interests of those captured under the exploitative hands of owners of zoos, bullfights, animal breeders, the fur industry, meat industry, circuses with animals and an endless number of places of animal exploitation and death; take the necessary security measures, to ensure safe liberations as much for activists as for people not responsible for this imprisonment, like the wage earners in these capitalist companies, also victims of exploitation.
• We want to emphasize as well that liberation through direct action is something we can all be a part of, we do not need special training nor to be part of any organization, just to act with a couple of tools and an attitude open to taking risks in pursuit of the elimination of speciesism and Animal, Human and Earth exploitation, being always clear that race, sex, color, level of intelligence, language, sexual orientation, or in this case species, are not indicators of superiority or inferiority, but individual characteristics. Individuals are deserving of respect on the basis of their own desires and interests, advancing our ethics to a true unfolding of solidarity and egalitarianism.

For Animal, Human and Earth Liberation.

INDIVIDUALS FOR ANIMAL LIBERATION

Until we are all free..."

ACTIVISTS VISIT MINK FARMER AT HOME (Netherlands)

received anonymously:

"On Monday morning, December 1, we attacked the house of Mr. Steyn in Zeewolde, as well as his car. The reason for this is that Mr. Steyn illegally runs a mink farm at Sterappel Avenue. He has no license for it and is doing so illegally. The town seems to tolerate it, we do not.
In a previous action, all the breeding mink were freed, but that has not stopped Steyn from continuing with his 'hobby of hell.'
We demand that the town take measures against their own tolerance! As long as municipalities act illegally, we are forced to do just that, unfortunately.

ACTIONS CONTINUE TARGETING UCLA (USA)

received anonymously:

"this note is to share a few things with those of you who haven't ceased the torture of primates at UCLA, all other UC schools, and all vivisectors worldwide. (remember, we are coming for you.)

first off:
the first few hours of the silly U.S. holiday of over consumption known as thanksgiving were celebrated by some activists by redecorating a UCLA clinic located on the corner of 18th and Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica. Glue for the locks and lots of blood red paint were some of the additions that we chose to make to the general appearance of this outpost of the murderous UCLA medical department. this was another small gesture of our willingness to keep up the fight until the monkeys are removed from the UCLA labs.
we aren't going away.

secondly:
we are aware that due to some people's recent interactions with the UCLA vanpools, security has been vamped up, some of the vans aren't left out overnight anymore, and a bulletin was sent out to drivers and passengers to be alert of anything out of the ordinary. we are also aware of the fact that some of the vanpools have UCLA medical staff and ocassionaly even a vivisector as passengers. one such van has been driving around with a small "V" scratched into the paint. did your keen drivers and passengers pick up on it? the "V" stands for the victory that we will bring for the primates in the labs and also denotes something else of interest about the van. you figure it out...

and lastly:
we wanted to share some ideas with the regents of UCLA.
there are way more of us than you think. and that number is getting greater with every article that shines light on your disgusting halls of torture. more press. more actions. more damage. more pressure. it won't stop. as our numbers grow our proximity to you becomes closer and closer. disgruntled employees. disillusioned students. we are on your campus. you even pay some of us as we get closer to shuting you down. if there are primates in your labs we will be here doing what we do and getting better at it. we aren't going to back down.

with this said we have an idea for you. we know that the non-animal protocols exist. we know that UCLA has even had vivisectors switch over to the non-animal protocols in ongoing studies. when you do free the primates you don't want it to look like you had to make the choice because of the financial or emotional pressure that some of the direct actions bring you. right? here is what you do: you start calling us terrorists (shouldn't be too much of a challenge for you...), and you start saying that our actions are slowing down your plan to transfer over to total and complete, uncruel, primate and other animal free, safe, medical testing. UCLA makes the switch to animal free testing and we retire. UCLA restores it's reputation and saves money along with producing actual safe and reliable research. (contrary to what you offer now.) best of all the primates and other animals don't suffer. (also we don't mind that you called us terrorists. we know that you are the ones who terrorize and abuse. we know that we are the ones acting in the name of compassion and justice. go ahead and call us whatever you want. just let the animals out of the cages.)

it's up to you UC regents.
the UC name can continue to be doused in red paint or even go up in flames.
or it can shine proudly having ushered in a new day of humane treatment towards our fellow sentient beings.

your choice. we will be watching.

with love,
ALF"

ECOLOGICAL SABOTAGE IN MEXICO CITY (Mexico)

received anonymously (translation):

"During the week of Tuesday the 25th to Friday the 28th of November, the following sabotages took place:

- Half a dozen Molotov cocktails were thrown at installations of the tren férreo (metro rail) in Mexico City, causing damage to roads, electricity poles and walls of facilities.

- Incendiary sabotage against a 'control box of telephone lines,' property of Telmex; the box exploded and hundreds of lines were left unusable, 7 public telephones also owned by Telmex were sabotaged leaving them unusable, 1 public phone burned.

- In the early hours of the last day, a 'Banamex' bank was sabotaged, leaving the ATM unusable, thanks to the abolitionist fire of a Molotov.

We claim these actions as a form of 'protest' against the construction of a new rail line (line 12), in Mexico City (D.F.) and Mexico State; already because of its construction many trees were cut down, entire families evicted and land expropriated with large hectares of green areas subsequently deforested.

At the same time we claim these acts in 'solidarity' with the anarchist prisoners in France who were held after investigations into the sabotage of high-speed train lines. [mainstream media report;  http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1858191,00.html]

Our slogan has changed, we do not like conformism, now we say: 'if they touch one... all respond.'

Revolutionary solidarity is manifested in the streets, attacking in a direct way those responsible for the imprisonment of our comrades, for the destruction of the planet and of the killing of animals.

Revolutionary solidarity is manifested in the form of rage and action.

How beautiful it is to see revenge of the exploited and the oppressors squeezed!
How beautiful is the fire that frees!
How beautiful is the abolitionist fire of the anti-authoritarians!

No to metro line 12!
Stop the deforestation and the displacement of entire families!
For every eviction or abuse of power... fire in the streets!

We claim these actions as:

Eco-anarchist cell for direct attack....

Mexico... November 28, 2008

We are not the vanguard... it is only strategy!"

COMMUNIQUE, VIDEO RELEASED FROM FUR FARM RAID (Finland)

anonymous communique;
click here to view video from the action:  http://elaintenvapautus.net/uutiset/uutinen.php?id=368

"We went to a fur farm in Lappajärvi in the night between 17-18.11. We
dyed all the 600 foxes of the farm with non-toxic henna, took all the
breeding cards and opened all the cages. We liberated the foxes to mess
the breeding records, so the farmer won't know which animal was in which
cage. This together with removing the breeding cards guarantees the fact
that years of breeding work and information has gone to waste.

We also sabotaged some farm machinery, for example the device that was
used to electrocute foxes to death. We also left a message to the farmer
on a building: Welcome to work! EVR

Animals in the farm were in really bad shape. Many of them had bad
eye-infections and disformed legs. We also saw a fox in a cage that had
been dead for long time. Some of them had gingivitis. Some of the cages were
torn and broken so that animals could hurt themselves. Some of the foxes
were really fat.

Our message to the fur farmers is this: We will never leave you alone.

WINDOWS BROKEN AT PET STORES, KFC (Mexico)

received anonymously:

"On the night of November 24 hammering the windows of a pet store awoke more than one person; the Frente de Liberación Animal was up to their old tricks; more than 25 windows were destroyed.

That same night more than 15 windows of a disgusting junk food establishment, KFC, felt the vegan wrath.

In the morning the windows will remain broken, as our radical response against the speciesist murder.

With this little action-communique we want to express our deepest solidarity and joy with our Latin American comrades that have reported some of their actions for animal liberation this year, in Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia, Uruguay, Brazil and, recently, Peru. The flame will spread throughout all of the Americas, lets make the exploiters feel the anthropocentric fury.
