I’m uploading from a pub in Newport so there’s no time for a detailed report – that will follow after my return to London tomorrow.
The British Judiciary have backed the Danish Bosses and granted an eviction order against the Vestas Occupation. Three of the occupiers have chosen to leave, to great acclaim from those around the “Magic Roundabout” solidarity camp at the factory gates, leaving six Vestas Workers still in occupation.
But you can’t keep a good fight down – another Vestas facility in East Cowes, Isle of Wight acquired a roof-top occupation by five Climate Campers at 04:00, dug in for an indefinite occupation with victuals and tents.
