StarSociety Launches in The UK With Free 6 Month Subscription Code

Media Monkey | 14.08.2009 16:44 | Indymedia | Other Press | Technology | Birmingham | World

Today StarSociety launched in The United Kingdom for all those who work in the entertainment and arts industry, StarSociety offers a chance of private visual communications with those who may wish to hire them, cast them, sign them, teach them, interview them or rehearse with them on a truly Global scale.

We at StarSociety love to help! Our creative team have worked in the creative and entertainment industries for all of our lives and personally know how hard it can be to get that dream job. So we have spent 4 long years developing a new and innovative way to help those in these industries

StarSociety will serve as a global media rich directory for the entertainment and creative industries. Rather than following the standard listings model, the user will have a full 360 degree platform (which enables users to upload audio and visual material, as well as written materials) in which they can use to exhibit and showcase their portfolios, media rich content specific talents, audio recordings, reviews, work history and so forth; dependent on what the profile is for (it may be for a talented individual, for a voice coach, or a live act, or a location for hire etc). It will essentially act as a global necessity for approved talent seekers with the ability for private visual communications, team or project based activity, hiring, auditioning, and searching for new talent.

The levels of privacy are all based upon the user’s choice and will entirely depend on the user’s preference and specified settings of privacy and accessibility.

StarSociety is launching here in the UK and to celebrate the occasion, they are offering everyone free membership for a limited period. Simply go to the website www.starsociety.com and once you have subscribed enter the code JD8XJ3 to make your profile live to Seekers.

At present, StarSociety is in its basic form and is currently being developed so that the full ranges of tools are ready to use within 3 months. However the core tools to StarSociety are in place. These include the ability to create a profile and to upload media rich content, as well as being able to use the email and messaging service.

StarSociety will also be launching worldwide over the next few months in order to provide a truly global opportunity for all of our users and Seekers.
Each company or individual can create a profile that enables them to present themselves to the people that matter; by uploading music, still images and moving footage, as well as credits, press coverage and links to external websites.

Our vision is in its basic phase at the moment, but soon the user will be able to decide who can access their private profile; once permission has been granted the subscriber will be able to communicate directly (or through a designated agent) via email or Livecam, all of which is recorded for their personal and legal records.

StarSociety also enables talent to manage their diaries, run their business affairs and even audition/meet/rehearse/be tutored and so on, wherever they are in the world. It protects the users and is completely private and secure.

“I believe that StarSociety will be the one place where those seeking talent, ability and services can find it. They will be able to test the people they find live, review them, hire them and communicate securely with them one on one and behind tightly closed doors. We celebrate everything and everyone that exists currently and ask them to unite with us... we have no ego in Star Society... we just want to help!”
Kelly Campbell , Co-Founder & Creator of StarSociety

StarSociety is the perfect professional tool for all with talent, ability and services to offer alongside those who seek these things in the creative industries; it is designed entirely with you in mind.
Inspired to unite all the creative and entertainment industries and help those in the industry, StarSociety enables users to reach and cross over into other industries such as film, music, television, live performance, fashion, sports and advertising. It also enables users to explore the opportunities available in other territories on a global scale.

It is possible to subscribe to StarSociety now at www.starsociety.com and for a limited period we are offering free membership for 6 months of free use whilst the database is building and the tools are being completed.

For further press information or media interviews please contact Nina Saini on  nina@starsociety.com or directly on 00 44 (0) 7956 841359.
