43rd Anniversary of the formation of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea

The 25th of August is the 43rd anniversary of the foundation of the Revolutionary Party for Reunification which is the proud and valiant forerunner of today's Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea , the vanguard force of the south Korean revolution that fights for the independence and democratisation of south Korea and advances militantly towards the sacred goal of reunification.
The RPR was founded on the 25 of August 1969 by the south Korean revolutionaries inspired by the teachings of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung on the south Korean revolution and the immortal Juche idea. The great leader president Kim Il Sung taught that the south Korean revolution is both a national liberation revolution against US imperialism and at a the same time a democratic revolution against the comprador capitalists, landlords and bureaucrats . Furthermore President Kim Il Sung taught the workers, peasants and popular masses of south Korea must have their own party. The south Korean workers and peasants came to have their own vanguard party guided by the Juche idea.
Leaders of the RPR such as Kim Jong Tae and Choi Young Do were murdered by the south Korean puppet fascist regime becoming martyrs for the south Korean revolution and the reunification of the country . The RPR fought hard against the south Korean puppet regime and the US imperialists using all forms of struggle , legal and illegal, violent and non-violent . The RPR , guided by the great Juche idea, not only struggled against the south Korean fascist puppet regime
but also against revisionism, flunkeyism ,great power chauvinism, opportunism, dogmatism and factionalism.
The RPR to reflect the mass democratic struggles in the 1980s against the fascist Chun regime of south Korea became the National Democratic Front of south Korea . The NDFSK played a valiant role in the struggle to democratise south Korea and overthrow the Chun-Roh fascists. During the late 1980s south Korean students and youth , risking jail or even death, studied the Juche idea

Later the NDFSK became the Anti-imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea. Today the AINDF is fighting hard against the neo-colonial fascist regime of Lee Myung Bak, the traitor and to the Korean nation.

The ASSPUK , JISGE and UK KFA salute the AINDF on its 43rd anniversary . We are very proud to have such fine comrades as the AINDF. May the struggle of the AINDF win final victory !

Brief introduction of the struggle of the Anti-imperialist National Democratic Front ( AINDF)



Forty three years have lapsed since our Anti-imperialist National Democratic Front (AINDF) was founded on August 25, 1969.
Though there were manifold ordeals and hardships on the road, it has successfully surmounted the gale of the “Yusin” dictatorship in the 1970s and the frenzied whirlwind of anti-communism in the 1980-90s, and now is struggling for anti-US independent reunification in an excited era of the second millennium.
Since 2000 we’ve waged anti-imperialist struggle for reunification under the banner of “By our nation itself”.
During those days, the AINDF has been undauntedly waging the heroic struggle for independence, democratization of the south Korean society and the national reunification with the high honor of holding in high esteem great President Kim Il Sung and perspicacious Marshal Kim Jong Il, great men of the century and suns of the nation, as the illustrious leaders and taking the Juche idea, the guiding ideal of the times as the vertical rudder.


Holding in high esteem the great men of the century

Comrade Kim Jong-tae, pacemaker of the foundation of the NDFSK in the 1960s, venerated great President Kim Il Sung with the highest appellation of an “unparalleled hero”.
The fervent Kimilsungist fighters including comrade Kim Jong-tae strove day and night to arm themselves with the revolutionary history of President Kim Il Sung, his ideas and theories, and laid the adamant cornerstone for founding the AINDF.
The members of the AINDF organizations devoted all their efforts to the ideological solidifying of the party on the basis of the immortal Juche idea.
The AINDF members with the strong conviction of the victory of the reunification revolution thanks to the prominent leader, the founder of the great Juche idea, did not only arm themselves with the ideas and feats of great President Kim Il Sung and perspicacious Marshal Kim Jong Il but also inculcated the Juche-Songun upon the people from different social standings including workers, peasants, intellectuals, youth and students, religious men and patriotic soldiers, rallying them into a main force of the revolution.
By the influence of the AINDF in south Korea, innumerable patriotic people of all walks of life have grown up into the adherents of the Juche idea, formed many organizations and are energetically advancing for independence, democracy and reunification.
According to data of a security organ, the adherents of the Juche idea in south Korea today amounted to nearly 4.3 million, i.e. more than 10% of the population.
In 2002, major 10 newspapers and 15 magazines in south Korea carried 430-odd photos of President Kim Il Sung and Marshal Kim Jong Il and some 1,000 articles on them.
It is a fact enough to show the high extent of the south Korean people's worship towards the great men of the century and their ideas today.


Pioneering the course of independence, democracy and reunification

The AINDF's mark was figured by a torch.
The torch-stand emblematizes the immortal Juche idea, the guideline of the AINDF and the three red crescents above it symbolize the three objects of independence, democracy and reunification.
AINDF reliably assuming its role as the vanguard of the south Korean people.
A south Korean student said:
“The AINDF is the leading organization of the south Korean revolution.
We trust in and follow the NDFSK as the patriotic vanguard of the south Korean people.
Establishing an independent and democratic government and reunifying the country in a federal way constitute the AINDF’s platform, and independence, democracy and reunification are its banner.
However, different mass organizations and united front organizations, even the Democratic Labor Party adopt them as their political goal and guideline today.
At the outset of the first century of the new millennium, Korean people, both in south and north, could greet the June 15 joint declaration thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Il, lodestar of the reunification.
95.7% of the south Korean people support the declaration, which was praised by the south Korean movement circles as the fruition of the Juche idea and the Songun politics.
AINDF appreciated the June 15 joint declaration as a landmark of the national reunification, which most correctly reflects the aspiration and desire of the 70-million fellow countrymen, expressed full support and approval to it and earnestly called on everyone to rise up in the sacred and patriotic struggle to realize it.
The south Korean people who keenly felt that the US is the main stumbling block on the way of realizing the great cause of independence and reunification by our nation itself as clarified in the joint declaration, are opening the “era of popularizing the anti-US movement”.


Bathed in the unlimited support and trust of the people

The people's support and trust are the source of the strength for the AINDF.
The patriotic people from different social standings cherish a steady confidence in the AINDF and warmly express their support and trust to it despite the wicked obstacles laid by the US and the south Korean ultra rightwing conservatives.
The youth and students in particular, call the NDFSK's members with respect and trust as devoted fighters and members of a vanguard organization.
The ideal and principles of the Juche idea held fast to by the AINDF since its foundation and the just and patriotic struggle it has vigorously waged win the active support and solidarity not only from the different patriotic people in south Korea but also from the world progressives and the AINDF's prestige improves day by day.
The AINDF has relations with some 100 political parties and organizations over the world and formed new ties with anti-imperialist organizations in the north America and in western Europe since 1990s.
The Anti-imperialist Solidarity in US sent a congratulatory message to the AINDF on its 34th foundation day expressing warm revolutionary solidarity.
It read:
“We cannot say enough what an honor it is to have you as our comrades.
Together we can defeat and destroy US imperialism, the common enemy of us all.
We know and revere the AINDF as our true comrades and brethren.
Comrades of the ANDF, in the spirit of Comrade Kim Il Sung, we wish you still further victories and hope to strengthen even greater our fraternal ties.”

AINDF will wage more dynamic anti-US anti-war struggle together with the progressive people of the world and will bring about a new victory in the struggle to realize independence of south Korea and the national reunification, holding higher the banner of the June 15 joint declaration under the brilliant beams of the Songun politics of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
