Tuesday 20th - Foie Gras Campaign
Aims to get Nottm City Council to implement a policy opposed to foie gras, similar to that in York and Norwich.
- join us collecting signatures from 12noon in the Market Square.
Everyone is asked to contact their own city councillor to test their opinions on foie gras. See list of local councillors at
 http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/sitemap/yourcouncillors.html

See campaign details at  http://www.veggies.org.uk/event.php?ref=1120

Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd - Fur campaign

 http://www.viva.org.uk/campaigns/foiegras/tesco.html and Five News at
 http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid7045040001/bctid7209660001)
Use this as an opportunity to raise the issue towards a council ban.
Join us 6-8pm at Tesco Angel Row (near Alley Cafe).

- after the Tesco's picket, or at your leisure at other times, visit Jamcafe, a new cafe in Hockley is reported to be 70-80% veggie, to report back at the next meeting. See
