A Hiroshima/Nagasaki Commemorative Social is to be held on Saturday 8th August - 7.00 onwards at the Sumac Centre

A social evening to include a session from the Ragged Ramblers jazz/swing band followed by readings, poetry, singing from hopefully Pauline and Yvonne and the Clarion Choir and classical music played by Dale on his guitar.

Please do try and come down and tell your friends. If you feel you would like to participate in the event with a reading, poem song/piece of music of your own please let us know by email to  D.H.Lunz@btopenworld.com

The event is organised by Nottingham CND to remember the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima on 6th August and Nagasaki on 9th August 1945.

Everybody welcome, the bar will be open for refreshments etc.

Vigil to Rember Hiroshima 1945 The Council House Thurs. 6 Aug. 12.30pm wards

Nottingham CND is also holding a vigil in front of the Council House from 12.30 to 1.15pm on Thursday 6th August in Rembrance of all those killed by the Atomic Bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6th and 9th August 1945. Please come and join us to say NEVER AGAIN and to call for the abolishion of all Nuclear Weapons.
