Demonstrations in Qattana
On March 6th hundreds of people from the village of Qattana demonstrated against the Apartheid Wall currently being constructed on their lands. Palestinians from the neighboring villages of Biddu and Beit Surik joined the villagers of Qattana in their protest. The demonstration began shortly after Friday prayers, with the villagers walking en masse towards lands already cleared for the Wall’s path. On the march demonstrators waved Palestinian flags, and called for a stop to the Wall. [More]

Demonstrations in Deir Qaddis
Early on March 4th Occupation bulldozers arrived on the lands of Deir Qaddis, east of Ramallah and started clearing land for the Wall’s path. The bulldozers arrived from the Kiryat Sefer settlement built to the South on village lands stolen previously. Initially villagers attempting to reach the bulldozers were blocked from doing so by troops of Occupation forces, but demonstrators persisted. Eventually the demonstrators were able to reach their lands, with women from the village taking up front line positions, standing ahead of the bulldozers, preventing them from destroying their lands. Demolition and Land Confiscation in Kafur Laqif and Jayyus
On March 3rd, 2004 Occupation forces issued confiscation orders for some 120 dunums of agricultural land in the village of Kufur Laqif in order to construct a settlement road, while at the same time issuing demolition orders for 6 farm buildings in Jayyus. Both orders are directly related to the Wall's construction, and represent further humiliation and hardship for communities already hit hard by the Apartheid Wall. [More]

Why is the barrier necessary?

Barrier for Peace
Barrier for Peace

The best way to defeat the barrier is to make it unnecessary.

Yes.

By removing the illegal occupiers and returning the land to whom it belongs.

Or, perhaps, by hidiously distorting the truth through nazi style propagander campaigns?!?

Then again, it didn't work out too well for them ...

Trans Jordan lost the territories as a result of aggression

"By removing the illegal occupiers and returning the land to whom it belongs. "

Trans Jordan Illegally OCCUPIED the "west bank" they colonized it and eventually annexed it. They also lost it as a result of their war of ethnic cleansing against israel...
Who DID the land belong to? The Ottomon Empire?

Israel is the rightful owner!

No.

It belonged to the people that lived there, their decendents and their decendents - ethnically cleansed, as you put it, by the state of israel. The details of how they did this, who they did it with and against and what the reactions were - are a matter of documentation. Return to the source documentation to avoid zionist spin.

Return to the source of this conflict - in it lies the solution to it.
