The 'Red-Green' German government last year declared to 'abandon' the use of nuclear energy - but in fact the last nuclear power plant is to close 2019 the earliest. This reflects how much the agreement caved in to the economical interests of the nuclear lobbies. The 'Red-Green' government also agreed to 'honour its contract' to receive nuclear waste from the French reprocessing plant La Hague.

During the next days there will be a plethora of actions along the railtrack where the train is due to pass through.
