The 'corporate' media can be very irresponsible but if you target them as an enemy you will achieve a lot less than if you work with them to get your point across. Unless the workers of the world agree with your aims they are not going to join in any revolution.
I suggest you take up an active sport - or how about spending all that energy in charity work? If you think violence is fun you clearly have never really witnessed it.

About the logs covering motorways: When was the last time you saw a motorway that just happened to have forest a few feet from the hard sholder? And why cut down all these trees? They'll only be cleared away in a couple of hours. And, basically, anyone advocating environmental destruction at this stage of evolution can fuck off.
Why is communication between the media and `the movement` so bad? If we don't communicate we end up getting what we do everytime there is a riot - fucking lies without politics or motives.

you go on condemning each other, the state and media play divide and rule, corporations go on with their empty PR. I say that whatever is happening, a new wave of conciousness or whatever- expression will manifest itself in different ways, lets think of some good ideas, get more converts. its very interesting studying papers like the guardian as they demonise protesters sometimes and other times advocate activism? I say klein and monbiot are better than nothing though i guess others might argue not..although clare short and gordons browns rage against the coming potential of protesters was predictable and blind of course. Whatever, peace friends, fight against their lies and lets stand up for the exploited billions.

Instead of watching a macdonalds or whatever get trashed on a demo why not make a huge long / high banner saying "CLOSED BY THE PEOPLE" and physically blocking the entrance with it - people could go inside and tell staff / customers what was happening and advise them to leave or something. Similar things could be done with stickers or large posters. Same effect in stopping trade, only no money pump on the insurance boat, no arguement about trashings, no bad press for trashing and would make a great picture for the corporate media vultures who'd no doubt be waiting there anyway.
And re the corporate media - let's face it they are sooo part of the problem - just look at all the absolute LIES and propoganda printed in the run up to May Day (but yes of course you also want them to sometimes carry news of your campaign) - so again think about it, there are so many possibilities... evening actions give the possibility to project images onto corp media buildings giving the real news, erect large graffiti walls alongside for people to write their own news on, set up public access internet points outside of them, make an action where all staff leaving the building are confronted by scores of 'journalists' wanting interviews about the bias of the corporate media or misreporting of this or that event, taking pictures and filming them etc etc

You stupid fuck...
The more peaceful protests we have on a large scale, the louder our voice will become. Papers are too quick to voice the 'vandalism'. Joe Public doesn't understand why the windows of McDonalds get smashed. A large sign across the front will inform him more than a newspaper headline.
