A very small minority of violent protesters have been given free rein to disrupt the demonstration.
eye witnesses report.

fridays demo was disrupted by the so called black bloc.
Tutta biancha declared their intentions prior to the start of the demonstration they have done what tey said they would and have not interfered , on a large scale, with the other demonstraters. The black bloc has done exactly the opposite, they use the main body of the demonstrtion to carry out guerrila style raids on police and property.
They appear from side streets and cause panic amongst the ordinary people in the midst of the march.
By the time the police react they have disappeared back into the side streets leaving the ordinary punters to take the wrath of the police who then indiscriminately beat up innocent people , pensioners kids anyone who happens to be in front of them. The fact is that as agent provocatuers the black bloc are 100% effective.
But the fact that these highly visible people are free to roam the city and carry out their actions is rather strange.
from eye reports these people stand out a mile 99.9 % of the protesters dress in every day clothes , you know the sort of thing, jeans or trousers T shirts ect.
The black bloc are more akin to mad max style street warriers they wear home made body armour made from all sorts of material . they are well tooled up with crow bars and similar weapons. The estimates of their numbers are perhaps as little as 150 not more than 500 at the most.

There are supposedly 20.000 police and other state security
forces in Genova , how is it possible that the black bloc are still at large in Genova, the consensus here is that the security forces allow the black bloc to do exactly as they please becase it serves the purpose of the G8 and the corporate crime syndicate it represents. Obviously the world media is on hand and ready to splash the actions of a 150 lunatics bent on violence, but what of the other 999.9850 they no other wise . There are shit loads of independent film makers in Genova it might take a while but the true facts about what has happened in genova will come out.The Italian police will be shown to be incompetent at the very least, they have attacked innocent people and allowed a gang of obviously violent people to go about their work as and when tey please .
We are at present in a beautifull hillside above genova
in a short while we will go down to join todays demonstration, everybody is shocked by what went down yesterday , we all hope that today we bill a passive demo.

Justifies murder?

21.07.2001 10:19

Get this into perspective. The Black Block are, rightly or wrongly, breaking windows and throwing stones at police. That's all. These acts are criminal under law and these guys know they are risking arrest and they should expect that.

However, there is no excuse for the state to arm themselves and start shooting at them. The young man who was murdered was simply throwing a fire extinguisher at a van. Whatever you think of what he did, that does not justify killing him. Personally, I can't see how the kind of violence by some demonstrators achieves anything. But I'm not in Genoa, so I'm getting my information from subjective sources.

Are the holier-than-thou within the movement going to acknowledge the crime by the state, or are they going to join with the chorus of 'I hate anarchists' being led by the politicians?

What the fuck?

The police are giving free reign to the black bloc? Is that why they shot one of them in the face twice at close range? I suppose you'll only be happy when all anarchists are murdered by the police scum.

!Just do it!

Let black bloc or whoever be , each protestor has his/her individual agenda ...the filth have their agenda-which is plain to see ...sometimes banners and protest slogans are not enough - however people want to get their point across needs to be respected.Stop fucking whining like ur in a queue in a shop,'they pushed in' , it's 'not fair',fuck!!,to overcome these systems of oppression is gonna take more than a few banners waving in the breeze...''it takes all-sorts of ideas and all types of actions''... .. .. .

I'm not fucking whining

21.07.2001 20:33

I'm not fucking whining, arsehole , I didn't say I was anti violence , I was radio rental when as a youth and to save breaking my hands on areholes like you i'd use a baseball bat. The point is that if you black bloc wankers want to have your violent demonstration don't hide behind innocent people. You'll find that we 'pacifists' will get sick off you using peacefull demonstrations as cover for your operations. Personally i couldn't give a shit if you want to wreck genova or any where else . but don't fucking hide behind people who are unable to defend themselves otherwise you might find that yourselfs getting it from both sides.
