What is so distressing is that these clearly ultra right (in Berlusconi's case verging on fascist)were all elected into office...but i guess that goes to show the calibre of opposition in those countries.
I was stunned by the actions of Sunday night, i thought the police were stupid, that the media would crawl all over them about this, but i was wrong, and that, again, makes a bad situation seem even worse.

In every country, there are only two electable candidates, if they also happen to be billionaires or own the media, as in Berlusconi's case, then they promote themselves and their agenda exclusively, hence they are elected by a few fawning imbeciles. The only difference between the Fascism of Mussolini and the Fascism of Berlusconi, is a handsome face, supposed charisma and charm.

Sky report0 IMC hiding reports?

A comment on Sky..i have put a number of reports on indymedia UK about Sky and all the arrested people from britain and they were all taken down within an hour for some reason.

Possibly someone is paranoid that the state will get more info than they need but the fact that all the same details are on ITN and other news websites needs to be considered.

Also Skys mother knows what happened and is thinking of flying out to his bedside so it cant becasue of family concerns

Can anyone from IMC comment?

i'd be very surprised if your updates were hidden (at least I didn't do that). keep in mind that the servers were in HEAVY strain because of all the hits. we had to resort to emergency loadshare experiments, and the uploads might have just fallen inbetween the refreshes. check out the admin pages (link below) if you can find any of your postings being hidden. btw cheers for all the reporting! in solidarity, andi
