Queen mum a bit closer to dying

BBC News | 01.08.2001 17:11

Hopefully this royal parasite won't trouble us for much longer and she'll keel over and finally die. She's been sponging off the taxpayer for 101 years and lives a life of luxury while many of her subjects live below the poverty line.

The Queen has said her mother needs "a good rest more than anything else". She made the comment at an official engagement on Wednesday after her mother was admitted to hospital suffering from anaemia. A Clarence House spokesman confirmed the Queen Mother had received a blood transfusion at the private King Edward VII hospital in central London. Such a procedure is usually only carried out in cases of severe anaemia. However aides have played down fears over her condition, insisting the 100-year-old, who celebrates her 101st birthday on Saturday, was not seriously ill. She was diagnosed with anaemia - a shortage of red blood cells - when she underwent tests after suffering mild heat exhaustion on Tuesday.

The Queens Mum's a rip-off!

01.08.2001 17:21

What confuses me is that so many of Britain's poorer citizens actually think the Queen Mum is rather cute.
She's not! She's a waste of money. Think how many Hawke Fighter Jets you could send to Indonesia to kill East Timorese women and children for the price of keeping her ticking over.

And apparantly, the Queen Mum was right little scheming bitch when she was a young'n'.

Hope you guys held onto your "Queen Mum: Good Riddance" stickers - they might come in handy soon! I've got a pile of 100 right here!

yeah, but....

01.08.2001 18:01

If she does die, it'll ruin TV for weeks. I for one will not be happy if I miss Hollyoaks 'cos of a Channel 4 News special.

My copy of The Sun will be filled with nonsence about her really productive life instead of interesting stuff about Chris Evans' latest teen-pop-star-love-affair or the glories of Helen from Big Brother. The "bored-sheets" will be the same but using longer words.

Long live the Queen Mum; long may her spectacle hold this fragmented, chaotic world together (superficially, at least).

there is a list somewhere on the Icke sit which amusingly describes the Queen Mum as something like 'child abuser, murderer, satanist

knocking out syphillism

i would add however, being a wannabe homeopath, that homeopathy has done a grand job with the old lady knocking out the syphillitic traits so apparent within the family, at least on the physical plane. that's why she's still here and only marginally demented

..She's not gonna die! Anaemia my arse. They've just taken her in to replace her batteries with a solar panel for this hot spell. They'll be testing new Duracell batteries out on those poor bunny rabbits soon. You wait and see!

She Wont Die

... at least not for 3 more years. Our 'Beloved Leader' TB neads a feal good factor in order to win the next election, what with the economy going to pot riots on the streets and all that.

With the death of the Queen Mother and all the mawkish sentimentality that will be going around Tony will be able to sail straight back into number 10

a decent queen mum site

02.08.2001 10:18

I've just read through what people are saying here and it is disgusting. If anyone wants a proper discussion, with people who CARE about the queen mum, they should visit the Daily Mail talk board at:

 http://chat.femail.co.uk/

The above site is for decent people who would be APPALLED by the kind of filth being peddled here.

Hitler called Lizard Bowes Lyon, "the most dangerous woman in Europe" and she probably drank the blood for her transfusion.
