Maybe this record should be re-released. It would be appropriate during the present outbreak of violence. It came from a protestant group as well. The punk movement brought a lull in the violence for a while as both catholic and protestant youths met each other at punk gigs. It didn't last thorugh and violence returned to the province with the death of the hunger strikers.

Regardless, I agree that the situation in N. Ireland is absolutely ridiculous, yet so similar to the Israel vs. Palestine thing (but differing on "some" levels to be sure)
that the situations make you feel either a) Anti-terrorist
b) Anti-terrorist, or c) Anti-terrorist.
Well now, it seems that the same conclusion has been reached all around.
Anyway,(satire aside) whatever "side" you're on, the result is the same: hatred, pain and death.

I'm not claiming to have any quick answers or solutions (and we all know that these are complex issues), but communication and dialogue...(not bullheadedness anger and violence) is most certainly a step in the right direction.
