Cannabis and hemp are the same thing, Marijuana was the Mexican name for it. It was first cultivated in China around 4,000BC.

Five years later during the Second World War, the US Department of Agriculture released the film, “Hemp for Victory,” which encouraged American farmers to grow it for the war effort.

Hemp is cultivated all over the World. Today China, Korea, Hungary and France are among the countries which grow hemp for fibre, paper and other products.
