I Agree, as I write this from the office of a electricity company where i sit suited and corporate, for the first time i am questioning the ethics of playing the capitalist game, I go on demonstations, lobby my MP etc but this is not enough, I think I may quit my job, find a squat and organise, not just globally but locally. Are we the resistence in a new totalatarian regime ?

It will take more than squatters and the usual suspects to overcome this forthcoming regime. This will have to be a popular movement, even a war and it is dependant on many millions of people waking up before it is too late. The government will not relinquish control easily though, and will defame and attack people who stand up against it.

The signs are heartening though. I encountered a middle aged, middle class lady in an expensive scarf and jacket, trying to get signitures for a petition telling the western leaders to use restraint.

This is really make or break time for earthlings everywhere. The world will never be the same again, because as a species we have reached a crossroads. We will no longer sit in the halfway house between freedom and slavery. We now have to choose, one or the other.
