The current technology is a tool the control of which is held by a few. we in the UK were shown images of Yasser Arrafat giving blood in solidarity with the suffering of innocents but this image was not broadcast by any American network. I live in a culture where 1 in 10 young men kill themselves. They don't do this because they don't get the women or because they don't fit in they do it because they are continually made to feel bad about both those facts. Assuming that you are from Scotland, the last available figures show that 500 young Scots men (aged 16 to 45) committted suicide in 1999 - a rate of 34 per 100,000, which is a fraction of the 1-in-10 rate that you quote. Admittedly, this is more than double the English rate of 16 per 100,000.
