Do not believe what the Police may say, the WOMBLES are not violent and this saturday (13th Oct) i will be standing proudly beside them as a supporter. When I was arrested at Brighton (30th Sept) with four other WOMBLES, the police tried to cram some crap about how violent the WOMBLES are down my throat but i didn't listen and NOR SHOULD YOU. The WOMBLES are peaceful. Join the WOMBLE bloc on Saturday and we'll all enjoy a peaceful march through London and show the police that they are WRONG!!! NO WAR BUT THE CLASS WAR! STOP THE WAR BEFORE THE WAR STOPS US!

A short note for wombles and others attending saturday's protest:

At the brighton demo the police moved in to arrest wombles right at the start of the march. A few people tried to help them, more shouted at the riot police, more did nothing.

It is unlikely that the police will try to arrest people at the start of this demo, but in case they do people can practice solidarity. Calm solidarity is often better than just shouting abuse at the police as this makes the situation seem even more tense, reinforces the perceptions of the officers that they are in a threatening situation and often makes them act in a more forceful or violent way. You can quickly link arms with those around you in a calm manner, this is even more effective if people drop to the ground.

This is an anti-war demo, minimise conflict - peace.

Looking in the longer term, tactics for protests and demonstrations is a major issue. Peace's contribution is therefore very important. As the 'war' (nation- and people- crushing- I'd always thought war had two sides) continues, as we've been promised, for a long time, whatever trauma-fixes may be arranged in the meantime by the New World Orderists, the opposition is going to grow.
The Terrorist State has provided us this summer with 2 important demonstrations of 'protest dry runs'
1 - Genoa - obviously open violent repression - more importantly the infiltration by fake black bloc drawing police fire into the midst of the most peaceful demonstrators - message - no matter how peaceful you are you'll get gassed, injured, killed even, if you participate.
2. Bradford - how to opportunistically create a riot - outcome - purchase of water cannon and armoured vehicles with the threat of heavier police weaponry just behind. More sinister, the mugshots - and persuading a community to turn in its own - very naziesque!
Prepare for the worst - it may turn out better

Can anyone planning to wear overalls, including all wombles, please bring your own white overalls and any spares you have to the march tomorrow. Unfortunately there are no spares to give out.
