The last big anti-war demo in london was remarkable for the diversity of groups, and the bigger contingent on non-group-aligned individuals. It was certainly not a trot or anarchist bash, both of which were outnumbered the massas of people without a specific agenda - it was great!

Some people have been calling for an 'anti-capitalist bloc' at the demo on the 18th (see  http://uk.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=15306&group=webcast) - which I think is a good idea to link capitalism more directly to the 'war'. However it would not be good for this initiative to end in a pointless confrontation with the police, or to alianate the majority of other marches. I'll be there though.
