One of the most important historic events, broadcast as fact, was pure fiction. The opening of Tutankamun's tomb by Howard Carter was a media stunt, a hoax relayed to gullible viewers. The tomb had been breached over a decade earlier and the most valuable treasures plundered and sold by the tomb robber, Lord Carnarvon.
The door with the unbroken seal was built by Carter, because the booty of an unbreached tomb could be shared, rather than preserved as the property of Egypt. The 'curse' was a cover to dispose of witnesses to the big lie.
The conspiracy garnered even more money with a Hollywood movie and books.
Yet for 75 years, we were duped with false history. What else could they have faked? The moon landing?
HAHAHAHA
