"On the 5th December 2001 the City of London Police will be holding a charity auction in aid of the New York disaster. The aim is to raise funds for the dependants of the NYPD who lost their lives on that terrible day.

The following items are open to telephone bids prior to the actual auction:
Item 1. - A Guardsman Bearskin
Item 2. - A Beefeaters Bonnet
Item 3. - A bottle of House of Commons Scotch Whisky signed by the Prime Minister Tony Blair.
