and spreading it around! Let the media know they have our support to sneak out more truth!! every bit helps.

The BBC made it look like a predominantly Muslim affair, focusing on as many people as possible with veils, turbans and especially those with their face covered. Sky News ran an almost identical report, with Lisa Aziz careful to mention, "thousands" were there (without a figure) last time she said 5,000 attended! They omitted the fact that it was multi-racial. Many children were present, learning our "democratic" right to protest, they will need it!

Email your friends who went on the march. Post on uk newsgroups. Send to peace/anti-war mailing lists. Repost on UK indymedia tomorrow.

Both the Independent and the Guardian have talk boards.

Register with them (I know it's a bitch and an invasion of privacy, but this is important) and spread the truth on their message boards.

The Independent hasn't reported anything yet (and since it is a smaller paper, sometimes can't report things as quickly as the BBC), so give it time.

The log on to the Guardian message boards, go to:

www.guardian.co.uk

and then click on 'talk' and then go to 'guardian unlimited talk'.

Also, it might be a good idea to contact individual reporters and columnists themselves, as it is more difficult to hide behind a generic  feedback@newspaper.co.uk address. If we write to journalists, they might respond personally and take some responsibility, as journalists, for these atrocious lies.

Have just rung up to complain to bbc and channel 4, more complaints the better, its all part of the demonstration. When you phone up they will ask for a full list of your complaints, so be prepared.
