Nasty School Victimises Girls for Hairstyles

Chloe Hazlewood and Faye Cowig (both aged 15 ) were treated as paraiahs by the staff at John Bramston School, Witham, Essex, for their dreadlock style hair, which cost incidentally about £ 85 to have done.
They have withdrawn from the school as a protest, quite reasonably, we can all agree. Why not send them a message of support, and a complaint to the staff ?

Education ? Development of intellect ? What happened to those ? I was lucky. Some of my teachers were still aglow with their trips to Paris in 1968 and brought back some interesting ideas and stories.

Ive often considered the hypothesis that any society in contradiction and trying to ignore it, will have to express those contradictions somewhere, usually in educational matters. Here we have a case in point. Congratualtions to these two for daring to do what they want.
But £85 quid for a dredlock ? Pricey !

Do your children a favour and give them a chance to develop their own interests and freedom of spirit.
