One more day of mobilization in Fortaleza

Today, the youth from Fortaleza played one more action
to denounce the perverse side of the politics
implemented by BID (Inter American Bank of Development). Even with the city being in
true state of siege, the committee of youth anti -
BID got to enter in the airport, extending posters,
strips and staging pieces against the imperialism, ALCA, the
government Tasso Jereissati and FHC, and, clear, against BID.
The group-about 50 militant-it arrived exactly
in the hour in that a sanfoneiros couple (popular musics) received
police officers of the encounter of the BID arrive in a flight of Miami.
Immediately, all the protesters opened their posters, that even
then they were kept to mislead the enormous apparatus
policeman of the place. In one of the strips it was written “BID,
isn't welcome.”
All of the people that arrive at the airport are being
photographed and they have their identities photocopied by the
federal police. They are forced her be from front to one
camera camcorder their faces are recorded in several
angles.
The place of the fast parking for embarkment and
disembark is allowed only for authorities of BID! That
control outline also repeats in the roundness of the
hotels in that the police officers of BID are accommodated. The
residents need to prove that live for there for
they could have access to their streets.
But the safety of the airport (federal, civil,
aeronautics...) it was just surrounding the manifestation that
it was being done there. The press, that it was present,
it deviated and refused to register the manifestation.
On this Wednesday, the morning we will pass producing
masks, posters, drums and several characters for the
manifestation that we will do in the afternoon. We will also be
making work of popularization of this action. We will leave the
Square of Ferreira in march for the streets of Fortaleza.
We will pass from front to a McDonald, where we will distribute
tapiocas (a typical meal of this area) as form of
self-assertion of the popular culture and we are going to the beach of
Iracema, where we will denounce the projects financed by the
BID and that have serious environmental and social impacts.
Greetings anticapitalistas
