This demonstration is on Saturday, against the Israeli Defence Forces attempts to destroy the suicide bombers who are killing innocent civilians in Isreal.

Saturday is the Jewish Sabbath, I guess you know that very few Jewish people would turn up to protest their viewpoint, good day to hold an anti-Israeli demonstration, congratulations to the Palestinians!

Chris Palmer: As well as being the Sabbath, Saturday is also the day where traditionally most of the workforce don't work. Why hold a demo on -for example- a Wednesday in Cardiff? Everyone is in work, there are very few members of the general public out and about, all in all probably only a third to half the people will get the message if the demo went ahead midweek -or even on a Sunday- as opposed to Saturday. I know, i live there.

Saturday may be the traditional Sabbath, but it is also the traditional day for working class protest -because that's when most of us are not bound by work commitments and are able to attend. Of course, you'd understand this if you could just drop the 'anti-israeli, pro palestinian' polemic.

We're anti-war, pro peace.

I was wondering as we seemed to have picked up this IDF
geezer, perhaps he wwould be in to giving us an insight into
some of the tactix used by the IDF, I mean it is not exactly
conventional warfare is it, shelling civilian areas takes a lot of courage, i mean thus guy could be a real life war hero. errr Mr IDF guy could I ask whhat your errr speciality is is. I guess your not one of the lucky ones that gets to have a go on the F16, well I mean dont I bombing hospitals and kids schools with an F16, do you get to put a little picture on the fuselage just under the cockpit ?
still even if you just got an M16 must be fun popping off them teenagers with the catapults, tell us all what the training routine is for shooting old ladies in the back
