Where's Bristol?
16.04.2002 00:43
(no disrespect or lack of solidarity with the nicked wombles meant).
person involved with big London action...once
And your point is?
16.04.2002 06:42
The Bristolian issue 41 concentrates on local elections, offers no anarchist angle on these, other than to criticise all the candidates and to concentrate on local politicians. It does not even mention anarchism or viable alternatives to local politics. It is surely a "community newspaper"! To which you could subscribe for a mere £10 per year, or if you like you can "sponsor an issue".
The Wombles 7 trial highlights state repression of activists. It has not been reported anywhere except on Indymedia and U75.
So Mrs. P. Opulist, what is your point exactly?
I fail to see it myself.
WTF?
strange angle

both are significant,it's up to the individual to decide which he/she is most interested.
I would say the most important story right about now is the radical dairy getting busted. There is a fine example of the authorities trying to stop the local communtiy getting it's shit together. they (the people who pull the cops strings) are shit scared of alternative community organisations.
Cos it would not take long for the ordinary punters to find out that we don't need all the bent councillers and rest of the total control regime . the Bristolian is attacking these scum bags, in bristol. Every city (in the world) has it's little club (Rotary) of crooked councillers, business men, politicians, who lie and cheat and connive, to get a bigger slice of the cake. They help themselves to the communities funds and then blend in with the wallpaper when the fan gets zapped. Of course the cops(freemasons et all) are in on the scam.
don't really see your point though .

which one needs solidarity right now?
16.04.2002 10:39
The WOMBLE 7 are due in court in a couple of weeks, they need our solidarity and support. If the State can criminalise the WOMBLES this time, who is going to be fucked next time? Do we let the cops decide how we protest, do we let the State decide how the anti-Capitalist movementfunctions? NO WE DON'T. When the State tries to crush dissent, then WE ARE ALL WOMBLES!
