I understand the anger against Israel being expressed here, but let's be clear! The Palestinian struggle (and our solidarity with them) is against occupation by the state of Israel, armed and backed by the US and UK. It is NOT against Jewish people.

References to the holocaust and dark threats of revenge on "the chosen people" is the language of the far right, not of the anti-war movement. It's the flip side of extreme Zionism; both seige mentalities, both built on hatred and a tangible enthusiasm for war and massacre.

A small no of the OSI and French resistence did blow up German military targets, etc, and have running street battles with nazis, that involved the exchange of Firepower. Whereas in Israel you have a small minority of Hamas maniacs who are blowing up Israelies, indiscriminately, which must be condemned, but at the same time, this is no reason for Israelies to don jackboots and go into stormtrooper mode and completely massacre, wipe out and bulldoze large sections of the majority of moderate Palestinian muslim and christian ghettoes. Thats why Zionism and its blind loyalty to a nation/state(like german nazis blind loyalty to their state/nation) is discrediting Judaism and misrepresenting and misportraying our the Jewish people, as supremist, zenaphobic goons who admired Hitler so much that they copied his social policies, with regard to the persecution, segregation and ghettoisation of those of minority religions. Zionism because it replaces the teachings of the Torah and Judaism, with empty National pride/loyalty to a state is intrinsically Anti-Semitic, because its ultimate goal is the total distortion and destruction of the essence of Judaism and the Jewish people, and their subsequent transformation beyond recognition into a brutal, stormtrooping, racist, intolerant, right wing,, master race. Karl Marx, who was a Jew, based his Marxist principles on the teaching of the Torah, Marxism is ultimately rooted in the Torah, and Marx subconsiously saw his Marxist vision as an extension of Judaism.
