Workers and minorities in and outside of unions both in Turkey and internationally must break with their bureaucrats and with labourite social democrats such as the Labour Party in Britain, the Democrats in France and Shröeders' government in Germany to name but a few, and to forge a multi-ethnic revolutionary workers' party in order to fight fascistic capitalist imperialism both at home and where they oppress, exploit and murder across the globe. Workers and minorities must fight to mobilise the revolutionary forces in society –namely the advanced working classes– in order to destroy the capitalist system which is administered internationally and which the fascistic Turkish state are acting in order to defend when they torture and murder.

However, signing petitions from Amnesty International to persuade capitalist governments and pressure them to not murder, torture and exploit is precisely what Amnesty International are about, and it is not only ineffective but illusory. Amnesty wanted capitalist counter-revolution in the Soviet Union on the grounds of "human rights" (precisely what the imperialists and capitalists wanted and precisely what they got, to the detriment and suffering of millions of workers), and they want it in China, Cuba and North Korea. Stalinist bureaucracies in deformed workers' states certainly torture and murder workers, but Amnesty International prop up the system of capitalism which kills hundreds of millions of people, the vast majority workers and minorities, annually.

Sign the petition and you will not only be wasting your time but you will be fostering the delusion that Amnesty International supports a free and truly democratic world, as well as continuing the illusion by so many that capitalism can somehow be reformed through pressure.
