Zionazis admitting stealing is part of their policy

Dan Williams | 26.08.2002 08:23

JERUSALEM (August 26 2002) The zionazis army came under fire Sunday after a Radio broadcast an investigative report, which found that the stealing of Palestinian property by zionazis troops was part of official policy.

Zionazis admitting stealing is part of their policy

"Danny," a recently discharged soldier interviewed under an assumed name, told a Radio show that troops stole from Palestinian homes during the six-week-long sweep for Freedom Fighters.
"During each search, what we would do is take the Palestinians at gun point to one room as the other soldiers searched other rooms, and they would steal anything of value," he said. "When it came to commanding officers, they ordered it. When it came to squad leaders, all of them knew and were following orders," Danny said.

The report prompted calls by some international groups for a parliamentary inquiry.

"I can tell you with a clear conscience that in my view the policy is part of the orders to the huge numbers of soldiers who took part in large-scale military operations its part of Jewish tradition to steal from non-Jews, stealing is a necessary part of large-scale military operations in the West Bank” like the ones over the past few years, Such as the offensive, known as "Operation Defensive Shield," launched in late March. Lt. Col. Ilan Katz, the deputy chief military prosecutor said.

A Radio show said Danny was among several soldiers to talk about these war crimes. Another man who was not named told the radio he saw troops ransack a shopping mall in Ramallah and make off with electronic appliances, jewels and cash.

COMPLAINTS

Danny said he had complained about the stealing to his superiors in June, when he was still a soldier.

"They said they would have me arrested by the military police if he did not shut up. They said, “Relax its part of Jewish tradition to steal from non-Jews”.
He mentioned one occasion on which the company commander demanded the men hand over what loot they had stolen. "The soldiers gave up the small stuff, but kept a large quantity of handguns, jewels and cash," Danny said.

"We first discussed the matter after Defensive Shield, but were assured by the zionazi army it was under control
"Each day there are complaints on robbing carried out by zionazis soldiers. We bring up these issues in our meetings with the zionazis; now they say its part of Jewish tradition to steal from non-Jews. " Said Ribhi Arafat, Palestinian chief of military liaison with zionazis in the West Bank and Gaza (Striped by the vultures known as Jews)

Is that a joke?

I just wanted to look at indymedia UK, because I will study there from september. But I wonder, wheter this kind of reports about the situation in Israel/Palastine is normal or regular. I think it is wrong and dangerous, and also a anti-semitic, to draw a connection between the army of Israel and the nazis. I have worked a lot about the nazis and esspecially the german concentration camps, and you could be sure, that there is a difference between the confilct in Israel/palastine and the industrial genoizid of the nazis.
In addition this picture (a person throwing this jewish symbol in a bin) is anti-semitic, too. It is not allon a sign of Israel, its government or army. It is a jewish religious symbol.

I would be interested in some comments and esspecially an answer to my question, wheter such a perspective of this conflict is consens in the british left.

Name

ISRAEL=RELIGIOUS FANATICAL LUNITICS

YOU MEAN THE SYMBOL ON THEIR FLAG IS A RELIGIOUS SYMBOL?
THAT MUST MEAN THAT ISRAEL IS A FANATICAL RELIGIOUS STATE RUN BY A BUNCH OF LUNITICS, THAT PUT RELIGOUS SYMBOLS ON THEIR FLAG

ALL NAZIS SUCK

Antisemitism used to discredit anti-zionism

I agree with the first respondent. Serious antizionists need to avoid the use of terms like "zionazi" and certainly to avoid the equation of the Jewish people and the Jewish faith (of which the star of david is a symbol) with the state of Israel. To equate the star of David with the state of Israel is to give the Zionists what they want. And even if the Zionist land-grab has a genocidal dimension (to the extent that it is committed to the destruction of the Palestinian presence on the land) there is a major gulf separating it and the death camps/gas chambers etc. of Hitler. The term "Zionazis" is not helpful to a cause to which we seek to convert Jews disaffected with the Israeli terror machine.

In fact, my guess is that a good portion of postings such as the above which give anti-zionism an antisemitic colour, are actually being posted by Zionists (in order to discredit the opposition). I think it is important that all of us quickly attach to such postings a statement on behalf of the anti-Zionist community that we despise racism including anti-semitism (by which we understand hatred of both jews and arabs)

as an israeli jew who is working everyday in order to educate the israeli population and the world jewry about
the issues facing palestinians in gaza, west bank, etc, i
feel that the use of terms such as zionazi is idiotic.

if there is ever going to be a true and just peace both israeli and palestinian peoples misconceptions need to be changed through a process of mutual understanding. by using these terms all the work that we are trying to do is in vain as it just discredits everything. my family lived through the holocaust and the two situations are very different... it hurts me and many over jewish and israeli peace campaigners when some of you who are trying to 'help' are so naive.
