Interesting as this article may be, it is flawed on a number of points, not least in its brazen use of out-of-context quotes, unbalanced assertions and exaggerations that come close to outright lies.
But rather than go into those, I would like to comment that the appearance of Ashrawi at the college will certainly have stimulated debate, something American students are much in need of at the moment, when their media and opinion formers are trumpeting either uninformed garbage, or one-sided diatribe. Let them hear the other side of the story too.
