I keep listening to the words coming from the Bush administration about Iraq and I become increasingly alarmed. .....

I fear greatly for the Middle East, but also for the rest of the world. ....

What is most chilling is that the hawks in the Bush administration must know the risks involved.....

They must be aware of the fear in Egypt and Saudi Arabia that a war against Iraq could unleash revolutions......

The many words that are uttered about Saddam Hussein having weapons of mass destruction, which are never substantiated with any hard evidence......

AND ON IT GOES, THESE ARE THE TRUTHS, SO WHY DO WE KEEP GETTING FED LIES MOST OF THE TIME, WHY ARE WE KEPT BEING TOLD THAT GOING TO WAR WITH IRAQ IS GOOD AND FINE???????

War, What is it good for?

05.09.2002 11:46

War!

War!
What is it good for?
Unlimited oil supply!

War!
What is it good for?
Unlimited oil supply!
War is something we sometimes need
It means capitalizing on all our greed
Even if it means tears in ten thousand mothers' eyes
When their sons go out to bomb and kill bad guys

War!
What is it good for?
Unlimited oil supply!
Say it again
War!
What is it good for?
Unlimited oil supply!

War
It's nothing but a job you see
War!
Friends let's go do it with glee
War is the friend of the US kind
The thought of war blows my mind
Handed down from generation to generation
Profits, production
Let the Ayrabs die!

War!
What is it good for?
Unlimited oil supply!
Say it again
War!
What is it good for?
Unlimited oil supply!

War has made our American dream
Made you richer, fatter and oh so mean
Life is too short not to bomb those suckers today
War means profits, so let's blow them all away

War!
there's nothing wrong with it buddy
War!
Friends, let's make it bloody
Peace, love and understanding
There is no damn place for these things today
They say we must bomb to keep our freedom
Yes Lord I'm sure there's no better way
That's better than
War!

War! What is it good for?
Unlimited oil supply!
Say it again
War!
What is it good for?
Unlimited oil supply!

Everyone should publise the anti-war demo!

05.09.2002 19:48

Everyone should now help to publise the anti-war demonstration in London on September the 28 which starts at 1pm at the Embankment! There are loads of ways to publise this such as making huge banners to hang across motorway bridges which say "DON'T ATTACK IRAQ - DEMONSTRATE SEPTEMBER 28 EMBANKMENT LONDON 1PM" these banners will be seen by tens of thousands of people if left up all day over a busy motorway bridge!

Another way of advertising it is to anounce it on as many website message boards as possible and on USENET newsgroups. Also write letters to local papers mentioning the demonstration. Ring up local radio stations when they have phone ins. Radio Talk Sport is one example of a radio show that discusses tiopical issues with listeners, phone in there and mention the demo.

Also maybe make your own leaflets or get some from the national Stop The War coalition office and leaflet your street, your town centre, your factory or local football match.

Call a general strike!

05.09.2002 21:30

The only way to stop our trigger-happy General -sorry President Bush and his poodle Tony Blair is to shut down the capitalist machine that make the war possible in the first place. This system requires us to go about our daily business in order to survive, so let's stop! Everone opposed to war should all call a sickie, stop working, stop consuming, stop adding to the war chest, and strike against these wannabe war criminals! They will soon call off their plans when they see their economy going down the pan faster than you can say "Enron"!

in search for evidence and justice ?

this is a rich footnote compilation that can help to find evidence about the unjust purpose of this war and the flaws in a politic system that allows such. make your own conclusions, study the original media mentioned there...
