Does the religion absence leave the better people?

Vitor | 01.11.2002 03:30

While we don't get to suppress someone of the causes of the human suffering, we won't be entitled of trying the suppression of the means for the which the man tries to liberate of the suffering. The death exists. The cancer exists, the robbery, the usurpation, the murder. The hell is already in this world, but exist men and women that are fugitive of the hell, those are the religious persons.

Does the religion absence leave the better people?

(a comment about the "March of the North Americans without God in Washington")

Most makes a mistake, because his god is the money. Does the religion absence leave better people? Would the world be better without philosophers as Buddha or Jesus Cristo? Because I was atheistic, my parents are atheistic and I know a lot albeit fraternity doesn't exist or something similar among them. In fact, they are selfish and individualists; as, in fact, most of the western population, that in spite of not confirming his atheism in many cases, they ignores the religion entirely.

Independently of the faith in itself, the credos all are characterized, before anything else, for an union of feelings, emotions and world visions. According to the positivists Comte and Durkheim, when the people meet in someone temple are, truly, reaffirming his culture, his esteem for the that share of the same opinions concerning several things, his ethical unit, finally.

Let us leave the atheists with their self-centeredness and prejudices. While we don't get to suppress any one of the causes of the human suffering, we won't be entitled of trying the suppression of the means for the which the man tries to liberate of the suffering. The death exists. The cancer exists, the robbery, the usurpation, the murder. The hell is already of this world but men and women that are fugitive of the hell exist, those are the religious persons.

Read the Gospel, know the Buddhist philosophy, read the Al-Qur'an ("Koran"). If somebody that you love is in his death bed, comfort him with the episode of the resurrection of Lazaro (Gospel of S. John); or say what the atheists think, that is: that the person is just a sack where happen chemical reactions until we deteriorate under the earth; that we are a colony of cells and traveling bacteria or that this person - if had childrens - he accomplished your biological mission (in agreement with the Darwinist ones) that is having children to preserve a selfish DNA.

Wellcome to the Amazing New World.

Christianity in agreement with Christ:
"A new commandment I give to you: that you love each other; as well as I loved you, you also love each other. In this they will know all that are my disciples, if you have love each other." Gospel of St. John.

A morte existe. O câncer existe, o roubo, a usurpação, o assassinato.

A morte existe. O câncer existe, o roubo, a usurpação, o assassinato.

Leiam os Evangelhos, conheçam a filosofia budista, leiam o Al-Qur'an ("Alcorão").
