>>>1984 - You are a woman, aren't you?'<<<
A Head of State is a symbol of his/her country's character and outlook. And naturally enough, Heads of State try to make a good impression when on official visits (at home or abroad). This requires diplomacy and tact from all the Head of State's entourage.Enter Prince Philip, the man for whom the term 'politically correct' is completely alien and who only takes his foot out of his mouth to eat or drink. Phil apparently believes that he is misunderstood and that many of his remarks are misconstrued. Somehow, I don't think so. Take a look at the evidence spanning over thirty-five years:

May 2002 - Phil ensures that the Windsor's Golden Jubilee tour of Britain starts appropriately. Upon confronting a visually impaired, wheelchair bound lady and her guide dog, he joshes: Do you know they have eating dogs for the anorexic now?

March 2002 - Liz and Phil travel to Australia as part of the Golden Jubilee World Tour (any T-shirts available?!). After taking in a performance by an Aboriginal dance troop, Phil wisely avoids racial stereotypes by deftly asking an Aboriginal leader, 'Do you still throw spears at each other?'

August 1999 - whilst being shown around a high-tech electronics factory in Edinburgh, Phil notices a fuse box that's less advanced than other equipment that's around. So naturally, the completely unbigoted and misunderstood Duke automatically says, 'It looks as though it was put in by an Indian.'

May 1999 - Phil visits the new Welsh Assembly, eventually coming across a group from the British Deaf Association. Upon seeing some young people with hearing impairments standing near a band, the Duke remarks: 'Deaf? If you are near there [the music], no wonder you are deaf.'

October 1997 - there's something about India and Indians with Phil. On an official visit to Jallianwala Bagh and the ‘Flame of Liberty’ (a memorial to unarmed men, women and children who were butchered by General Reginald Dyer's British forces in 1919), the Duke reportedly said the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy was 'vastly exaggerated.'

1996 - Phil makes an entirely perspicacious, intelligent and sensitive comment during the gun debate that follows the Dunblane massacre: 'There's no evidence that people who use weapons for sport are any more dangerous than people who use golf clubs or tennis rackets or cricket bats.'

1995 - never one to rely on stereotypes, Phil asks a Scottish driving instructor: How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to pass the test?

1994 - Everybody knows that questioning a person's parentage is never a polite thing to do, well, except good ol' Phil. During a spell in the Cayman Islands he asks a local: Aren't most of you descended from pirates?

1993 - Phil tells a Brit in Hungary: You can't have been here that long - you haven't got a pot belly.

1993 - Phil visits Lockerbie, scene of the Pan Am air disaster, where eleven locals died (killed by wreckage) along with those on board. For some strange reason, the locals are offended when Phil says: People usually say that after a fire it is water damage that is the worst. We are still trying to dry out Windsor Castle.

1992 - animal lover Phil declines to even touch one of Australia's most loved species, the Koala bear: Oh no, I might catch some ghastly disease.

1986 - on a tour of China, Phil single-handedly tries to end Sino-British diplomatic relations. He describes Beijing as 'ghastly' and told a group of British students: 'If you stay here much longer you'll all be slitty-eyed.'

1986 - whilst it's true to say that the people of Hong Kong and China choose their ingredients from a wider selection than us, Phil oversteps the mark during a World Wildlife Fund conference: 'If it has got four legs and it is not a chair, if it has got two wings and it flies but is not an aeroplane, and if it swims and it is not a submarine, the Cantonese will eat it.'

1984 - upon being presented with a gift from a very obviously female Kenyan the ever gracious and courteous Phil inquires:' You are a woman, aren't you?'

1981 - at the peak of the recession, Phil sensitively jokes that: 'Everybody was saying we must have more leisure. Now they are complaining they are unemployed.'

1969 - Welsh national treasure Tom I've had more knickers thrown at me than I've had hot dinners,Jones is asked by the Duke if he gargled with pebbles, after a turn at the Royal Variety Performance.

1966 - who's left for Phil to offend? Ah, yes - women:British women can't cook.Admittedly, that comment is a little more tame than the rest, but this was 1966, Phil was just warming up back then.

Happiness is a warm gun...

Remember the disturbed kid at school who enjoyed torturing domestic pets and pulling the legs off insects just to enjoy their pain. Remember how you'd do anything to make sure the sad, sick little fucker didn't sit next to you in class. Well the psychotic squaddie in the making, is nothing compared to our Prince Philip.
By 1993 deranged Phil, who has an arsenal of over 56 shooting rifles, had personally killed for the pleasure of murdering:
15,000 pheasants
15,000 assorted other birds
2 crocodiles
60 wild boar (killing 50 in one day)
hundreds of stags
and a tiger
Not bad for the president of the World Wildlife Fund.

01.11.02 - BBC & CHANNEL 4 - Gawd where to start - nothing we could make up would come close to this.... cover ups, withholding information, deception, blackmail.... It's all an everyday story of Royal folk trying to prevent accounts that would damage the Windsor Family firm. Already pressure builds for a march on Buck House against government & royal corruption - to join the campaign register with the email group on the index page.

13.10.02 - THE SUNDAY HERALD - First Scottish hnt closes following ban by Scottish Parliament. Despite assuring us that the countryside would rise up witha few toffs wereprevented from torturing animals, in fact no one cares despite a few bleats by the now ex-hunters.

12.10.02 - THE GUARDIAN - Charles involved in plot to fix National Trust elections so that pro-hunters are elected to the board. National Trust has banned fox- and stag hunting on their lands.

04.10.02 - THE TIMES - Charles, the type of expensibvely educated dicksplash who never lets profound ignorance prevent him from sounding off, demands that schools teach more 'proper British history' that 'celebrates our heritage'. Sadly it seems Charles didn't mean our common heritage of royal-hating (from the Anabaptists, Ranters, Diggers, Levellers, Chartists, anarchists, suffragettes and radical trade unionists) but a celebratration of the kings annd toffs of which he is one of the most inbred examples. To think we have decades more of his reactionary guff to put up with - unless we eradicate the monarchy.

29.09.02 - BBC Online - Prince Anne charged with setting her dogs on commoners in Royal Park.

28.09.02 - THE GUARDIAN - Prince Charles follows uup his party political meddling, by promising to leave the country and spend all his time skiing if hunting is banned. At least in his skiing trips he normally only kills his chums. When asked if he minds 'tossing off a cold, craggy rock-face?' He answers 'no, Camilla enjoys it'.

23.09.02 - BBC NewsOnline and Sunday Mirror. Prince Charles, never slow to support those groups that act in his class interest, has again acted in support of the Countryside Alliance. He has led a campaign to persaude Prime Minister Blair to support hunting and give even bigger government grants to wealthy aristos. Not only is he acting in a political manner, something, supporters of the monarchy claim the royals never do - but he shows he really is Prince Phillip's son with his insensitive remarks about minorities. Unbelievably Charles claims that the aristo is an oppressed minority. If only. To compare the plight of the poor, and those facing dailly discrimination because of their ethnicity, with rural landowners is sickening. If Charles really feels he is an oppressed minority - it is easy to fix. He can abdicate and become just one of us.

1.09.02 - THE OBSERVER - We hate journos, and isn't any wonder. During an otherwise sane report on groups opposing the Countryside Alliance (including the poorly named Urban Alliance), the sick scribe mentions a couple of letter bomb attacks, which had no relevance to the groups named. The deliberate intention was to give the impression being that groups opposing the aristo's-pressure group, the CA are somehow linked to individual acts of terror which could harm innocent postal workers.

1.09.02 - SUNDAY EXPRESS - Edward & Sophie do something tactless and tasteless, details too dull and repetitive to go through yet again. It's no good simply hating them - take action. Write to MA'M, PO Box 14672, London, E9 5UQ or email  colinwest_mam@yahoo.co.uk - and maybe we can could work together.

27.08.02 - THE EVENING STANDARD (London Regional Newspaper) - Th right-wing Standard newspaper reports that Camilla will be attending the Countryside Alliance Demonstration on September 22nd. Prince Charles will be giving his staff PAIDleave to attend. The rally is to protest against a government bill against the sadistic aristo pursuit of hunting with hounds. No doubt some twisted inbred will still try to claim the Royal Family is 'apolitical'. A counter demo is planned. Click here for updates on opposition to the rural ruling class Here. If you have further info non the Countryside Alliance and the Royals contact  colinwest_mam@yahoo.co.uk

11.08.02 - THE OBSERVER - HRH The Queen whose estimated worth is somewhere between £700 million and £5 billion was given a Bentley by the manufacturers worth £1,500,000 to celebrate the Jubilee. Quite by chance the Director of Bentley Richard Charlesworth was given the Member of the Victorian Order in the jubilee honours. A mere coincidence of course. The monarchy wouldn't be corrupt, would it?

24.07.02 - BBC NEWS - Prince Andrew who was caught travelling at 60 miles an hour in a 40 mile an hour zone is not fined by the police. Yet another case of one law for the royals - and one for us.... tyou'd think Andrew would be especially carefully if the rumours that his dad - Prince Philip severely injured a young woman many years ago in a car accident that was hushed up - any info on this would be gratefully received at  colinwest_mam@yahoo.co.uk

26.06.02 - GUARDIAN - President Roosevelt personally ordered covert surveillance on the Duke and Duchess of Windsor during the second world war after receiving intelligence that the duchess had been passing secrets to a top Nazi with whom she was alleged to have had a tempestous affair, according to documents released to the Guardian by the FBI.

16.06.02 - THE MAIL ON SUNDAY - Brown-nosing Royalist publicity-whore, Tony Blair, has been deeply embarrassed by the leak that his office was pushing for a more high profile role in the Queen Mum's funeral. Forget for the moment that Blair is a devious liar - who exactly leaked the story to the press? It wouldn't be the 'apolitical' House of Windsor would it? See below, perhaps.

15.06.02 - THE GUARDIAN - The government under pressure from the public launches an investigation into special low rents offered to the Lesser Royals. Top, luxury penthouse accommodation for the less than 5% of the market rent, a saving worth hundreds of thousands of pounds per year.

10.06.02 - THE SUN - "BEFORE you get too carried away over our wonderful Royal Family, consider the fate of the staff who used to work for the Queen Mum. Backstairs Billy, the QM’s most trusted aide, has been kicked out of his home after 51 years loyal service. Other staff at Clarence House with decades of service have been told to pack their belongings. They are even being charged £1.80 for the cardboard boxes to cart their stuff away in."

09.06.02 - SCOTLAND ON SUNDAY - Row over Queen's Inheritance Tax avoidance continues. The tories and other royalist arselicks support Queenie in avoiding a tax the rest of us would be liable for.

08.06.02 - THE INDEPENDENT - Effin' 'ell the dickhead Prince Philip does it again. During the Queen's recent visit to the Murugan hindu temple in North London, the Prince asks Hindu Tamil monks if they are terrorists?

London - Princess Diana was deeply distressed by a series of insulting letters from her father-in-law Prince Philip, former royal butler Paul Burrell was quoted as saying on Monday.

According to newspaper reports, the prince branded Diana a "harlot" and a "trollop" and warned her she was damaging the royal family.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment, saying letters between members of the royal family were a private matter.

In the latest of a string of exclusive interviews with the Daily Mirror tabloid, Burrell on Monday confirmed the existence of the letters. He refused to be drawn on their content, but added: "I know the hurt these letters caused Diana."

The princess's apparent strained relationship with her in-laws has been widely discussed in Britain's tabloid press over the years.

Robert Morton, who had Diana's help in preparing a book about her life, wrote that she had been hurt by four letters from Prince Philip. According to Morton's book, "Diana: Her True Story," the letters were "by turns bitter, reproachful, conciliatory (after a fashion) and condemnatory," but did not reveal their contents.

In an interview with The Mail on Sunday newspaper, Diana's friend Simone Simmons said she had read the letters.

'Nastiest letters ever'

"They were the nastiest letters Diana had ever received," the tabloid quoted Simmons as saying. "She had death threats which were worded nicer than his letters."
