Peace camp at Piccadilly from Feb 15th onwards

Why doesn't the mass sit down on the 15th Feb turn into a peace camp? Why not bring along tents, blankets, food and shelter and instead of getting up and moving on after a while when the police have had enough, why don't we stay there as long as we can?

Reclaim the streets.
Stop the London.
Stop the war.

There is a peace camp at Parliament Square run by one man and there was a peace camp in the grounds of the Imperial War Museum.

A few years ago I was on a camp on derelict land started by the Land is Ours as a protest site over the use of derelict land being bought up by big business. It would be good if a peace camp was set up in London on another piece of derelict land as a place for anti-war activists to stay and also as a protest against the war itself with slogans on it saying plant flowers not bombs. It could also be used as an anti war activist and networking centre.

Because the free movement of traffic through london is, understandably, more important than the live of some foreigners we've never met, I imagine the police will eventually 'insist' that no peace camp may be established in Picadilly, why not have somewhere in mind for the evicted to move on to?

...about the peace camp on Picadilly Circus, as this helps raise the inevitable point about what happens post-2/15...? will everyone pack up their kit bags n' smile smile smile etc... or will they fight on..? every saturday? every day? what are effective strategies in the long term within this current climate, one that festers somewhat perhaps from a form of reactionism, bred from good-will but maybe slightly mis-placed ? - I'm not about to elaborate on this too much... nonetheless the question remains...
