In an interview transcript on a U.S. military website, Donald Rumsfeld says a missile hit the Pentagon on 9-11.
In an interview with Parade Magazine, U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said of the Pentagon attack on 9-11: "Here we're talking about plastic knives and using an American Airlines flight filed with our citizens, and the missile to damage this building and similar (inaudible) that damaged the World Trade Center. "
Is this a transcription error - i.e. "and the missile" should be "as a missile" - or is it something else?
