Federal Judge Proves High Alert Is Strictly Political

Federal Judge Barbara S. Jones has proven herself to be an anti-democratic and constitutionally bankrupt lawyer as well showing her politics in the glaring light of public opinion by ruling against a peace march in New York City scheduled for Saturday the 15th February. Jones's ruling proves beyond a shadow of doubt that the high alert the White House put up last week is strictly political. With the pen system that the NYPD used for the World Economic Forum protests and also limiting the Dag Hammarskjold Plaza peace demonstration to just 10,000 protesters the NYPD strategy is to string the protest out in a long and narrow line (1 New York Street lane wide) so that there will not be an opportunity for an image of hundreds of thousands of protesters being seen in the domestic international media. And of course, once you're in the pen you won't be allowed out and then return to the same pen. You'll have to go to the back of the line. And of course this strategy further proves that the high alert is strictly political.

Now let me explain why and what the White House fears. So far the corporate manipulated polling data shows that after General Colin Powell's speech at the UN public opinion in the U.S. swung back around to support an invasion of Iraq and as long as the U.S. can continue to show unity in the U.S. public for the War, the White House hopes that this will bowl over those European leaders with veto power on the United Nations Security Council and of course at NATO. But prior to that the success of the January 18th March in Washington D.C. and the image of half a million people against the war on Iraq seemed to embolden European leaders, France's Chirac and Germany's Schroeder, Chirac a conservative and Schroeder a socialist to come out together in public the Monday after the January 18th protest in Washington D.C. and begin to apply pressure to the brake pedal in international diplomacy slowing the rush to war.

I don't believe the timing of the protest in Washington and the European leaders positions was lost on the White House. So what do they do, they do exactly what we and Paul Wellstone thought they would do with all their new powers from the Patriot Act and of course now with their Homeland Security. The White House is now using the war on terrorism to politically stifled dissent on a massive scale within the confines of the United States of America.

I would like to remind the NYPD, federal judge Jones, the U.S. prosecutors who were in the court yesterday supporting New York City's position and those who sit hunkered down in the White House that this one single subversion of the Constitution of the United States America that all of you are conspiring to commit puts you in the position of being viewed as though you were King George and we the protesters are the Patriots that fought the tyranny of the English crown.

You do have the opportunity to back away from this subversion but if you do not, I would like to warn you Mr. Bush that you are headed down a road that can only lead to a confrontation with the American People that you cannot win.
